Alone together

Luz POV:

I sitting straight up, breathing heavily as I look around and my eyes adjust to the darkness. I rub my neck and feel around noticing I fell asleep on the floor. "Fuck, I forgot to set the bed up." I say standing up and stretching, I start to walk out of the living, where I was sleeping and try to find the light. Suddenly hearing a small crack from under my foot and feeling a sudden sharp pain as I move it off. "Fuck!" I yelled falling to the ground and grab my foot as a feel a warm liquid go onto my hand.

I stand up hoping on my non bleeding foot and turn in the light and sit back down, I look at it noticing it wasn't too deep and would probably stop bleeding with a bit of pressure. I feel bean nudge my knee. "Hey beans, can you get my a shirt or something?" I say with a smile as she slithers off to the room portion of the dorm. I look around to see what I had stepped on, my heart dropping when my eyes land on a picture frame. I dive over to it and grab it. "Fuck, Fuck. It's okay it's just the glass it's okay Luz."

I say sliding the picture out of the frame and swiping the small pieces of glass off. I feel string-bean nudge my side as she drops a shirt, I pay her head and grab it. Setting the photo down softly next to me I look at the shirt, Bad Girl Coven. "I'm sure Eda has more I could get another." I say putting it around my foot and applying pressure. I grab the picture off the ground, keeping pressure with one hand.

"I'm sorry papa, I didn't mean to step on you." I say putting the picture up to my chest and taking a deep breath. String Bean slithers up my arm and rest in my shoulder yawning, I yawn too. "Your right bean, what time is it." I say setting the picture down and grabbing my phone out my pocket. "Dear titan, it's 1:37am." I set my phone on the ground and take the pressure off my foot, I look to see it's stopped bleeding. "Did I pack any bandaids?" I say standing up, nearly stepping on the glass ass I hop around it.

I walk over to the kitchen part and look through everything on the counter. "Shit, You think Eda would mind if I stopped in?" I say looking at bean, get a shake in response. "Let's go then, help me walk?" I say extending an arm down and she slides down and turns into a staff, putting some pressure on my foot I walk to the door opening it and stepping outside. I check my pocket for the keys before closing it and starting to the edge of the platform.

I sit on my palismin, flying up to Eda's headmaster door. I step of bean, wincing as I apply pressure to it. "You think she's in?" I say as I walk over knocking on the door, I hear shuffling from inside before Eda cracks the door open slightly and looks at me. "Kid?" She says opening the door fully. "What are you doing up so late?" She says leaning on the door with an eyebrow raised. "I could ask you the same thing." I say putting a hand on my hip, a light blushing crawling it's way across her face and onto her ears.

"Alright, alright. What do you need?" She says waving her hand and looking away. "Oh so I cut my foot, and was wondering if you have something I could bandage it with." I say, earning a sigh from Eda. "Come on in kid, this could take a bit." I smile at her as I use my palismin to guide me. I walk inside looking around seeing the pictures on the wall, my eyes then landing on a familiar face that is sitting on Eda's desk. "Mo- I mean Eda, what is raine doing here." I ask in a wavering tone moving my eyebrows up and down.

"No comment." She says looking around a pile of human stuff. I look back over to raine, smiling and giving them a quick wave. "Hi raine, what brings you here so late?" I say making them look away. "Oh you know, just uhm helping Eda with some of the paperwork?" They say in a questioning tone before grabbing some papers and staring at it very interested. "Uh huh.." I say looking back at Eda, who pulls out a box of bandages. "Haha!" She says walking over, twirling a circle as a chair comes up and knocks me into it.

"Oh-" I say as String bean turns back into herself and slithers down my arm onto my head. "Eda I'm okay I can do it myself." I say retracting my foot back. "Nuh uh. Mama Eda to the rescue." She says grabbing my foot and putting a few bandages on it. "I mean, Headmaster Eda.. here to help out her students." I hear a small laugh from the person, now actually doing paper work. I feel a light tap on my heel before seeing Eda stand up. "Thank you Eda." I say standing up and wincing as I put pressure on it again.
