Introduction

So I'm alive, that's cool. I haven't written online in about a year (two?) and have been focusing on a book I intend on publishing someday but a few days ago I got a notification from this account and reread The Halls of Westwood trilogy and all of the comments and fell in love with the universe again. When I first started writing The Halls of Westwood and Things Only Go Downhill, people asked me if I was ever going to write a story from the perspective of Eastwood Asylum for Girls, so here we are.

What's it about?

The Halls of Eastwood will follow the same themes in most of my stories, six girls brought to the asylum for different reasons, romance, flashbacks, mature topics, and psychology. The story will feature Sage, Heather Harley (The cousin of a tolerated character in my story Pride), and four new original girls.

We'll see the "I hate everyone but you " trope coupled with enemies to lovers. We'll see slow-burn friends to lovers filled with mutual pining without even realizing. And a trope I don't entirely know how to describe but is fully intended to rip your heart out and sew it back together a million times over.

There will also be tropes outside of relationships and of course, my specialty, found family. Here are the characters.

Catherine York: A charismatic and charming pageant queen that captions the adoration and love of a room just by walking in. Even with the world adoring her she is desperate to be seen for the first time in her life.

Heather Harley: An angry and isolated survivor who's never seemed to catch a break. Born from a nightmare family, she is the epitome of trailer park trash and has never felt any real human connection.

Indie Carter: Raised in a Hippie cult, she is a firm believer in love and embraces connection to others and the Earth. She sees beauty in everything, that is until her worldviews crumble as she makes a harsh realization about the commune she was raised in.

Regan Whitlock: Being the perfect twin of the perfect sister in a perfect family, Regan seemingly has it all. She's driven and hard-working, nobody could ever believe she was struggling. And nobody did until her sister and her grow apart revealing intense codependency issues.

Rylie Whitlock: Much like her sister, Rylie was seemingly perfect. A year-round athlete, on the honor roll, and a perfect social life. That was until the pressure finally made her break.

Sage Inola: A snarky and observant thief just looking to suffer through her last year until freedom. She doesn't intend to make anything of the asylum, little does she know she'll meet the one person that brings meaning to her life.

Thanks for reading this if you did and the prologue, introduction and playlist have already been uploaded!
