'Great a finals coming up in a few days' I thought then I got a plan and I smirked "say Kagome how about we go home and study for the test in a few days" I said
"Oh man your right" Kagome said "but now how to get passed Inuyasha" Kagome asked with a thinking look
"I got a few ideas" I said smiling
The next day
"Ready" I whispered as I stood by Kagome who was on her bike
"Yeah" Kagome whispered back and then we both nodded to each other and we rushed forward as fast as we could go
"And where do you think you two are going" Inuyasha said now in front of the well
"We're going home to study for a final" Kagome said
"Though with our poor attendance we may just end up failing even if we managed to get top marks on the test" I said with a sigh
"Hey now what are you doing" Kagome said
"Oh no you don't dog boy" I said tackling Inuyasha who had a boulder over his head about to smash the well
"You're not going anywhere till you hand over the sacred jewel shards" Inuyasha said managing to toss me away and lift the boulder again
"sit boy" Kagome said "sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit, sit boy" Kagome yelled and Inuyasha met the ground and the boulder met Inuyasha's back "stay boy we'll be back in three days and don't even think about following us" Kagome said as she jumped down the well and I sighed and followed her down but when we got on the other side aka back to the future we got drenched in rice wine causing me to sneeze
"Was that really necessary gramps" I said jumping up out of the well and staring at gramps and he smiled nervously then I sighed and jumped down to help Kagome out.
The next day
I woke up in my house in my room and I just laid in my bed staring at the ceiling then I got up and sighed as I started my routine: change in to baggy clothing, run five miles, showering, getting dressed in school uniform, eating breakfast, and packing my bag, and all done an hour before school. So like I used to always do I walked over to the Higurashi shrine climbed up all the steps and waited for Kagome and Sota
"Morning Ryu" Sota said running passed me
"Morning Sota" I said smiling slightly
"Morning" Kagome said
"Morning" I said as she and I started down the stairs and towards school
"Hey guys wait up" Kagome said upon seeing some of her other friends but I walked on for at school I like to be a loner it just makes things a bit easier for me for I've always been a bit different especially after my families murder.
The day seemed to pass by quickly but then I felt like something was wrong as we were walking towards Kagome's home and then an ambulance zoomed by and it looked like it came from
"Oh no" I said and Kagome and I started to run towards the Higurashi shrine and passed the police guarding the area until we found Kagome's mom
"Mom what's going on" Kagome asked
"Kagome, Ryu" Kagome's mom said
"What happened" I asked
"What caught on fire" Kagome asked
"The old store house caught on fire and your grandfather was trapped inside in the smoke" Mrs Higurashi said
"Grandpa's hurt" Kagome asked
