Silence reigns in the room as Agent James opens several documents on the various screens in the room. On them, several pictures of the same group. Agent James began

"This group that you see here is a group of mercenaries a little particular. They call themselves the 'Avengers of the Past'. They are known to be mostly temporal hitmen. They are paid by clients to murder people, known or unknown, who lived before us.

- It's a lucrative business, clients are willing to pay a lot. Miyu replied- Are these stories about revenge?" asked one of the generals.

- For the most part, yes, family revenge, love revenge, or other. This is a real problem. So far it's only been people who haven't had a direct impact on our history."

James changed the image on the screens and an email appeared. The email had been sent a week ago to a certain"Mr. X."

"On this email, this Mr. X seems to be the client, he is asking for the death of someone in particular. Here he calls him "the one who destroyed my country". At the moment, we do not know where the client is from. The email was sent from Germany but there is no evidence that the client is.

- Where should we start?" asked Lena.- Agent Lena, Miyu and Dimitrov will have to investigate the possible victim. A person of great importance to our history and whose actions have had a major impact on a country that would have triggered something bad. A war for example.

- How much did the client offer? " Dimitrov asked, his Russian accent echoing in the suddenly silent room.

Agent James turned to him and replied that the client was offering thirty million dollars. The three agents got up and left the room, heading for the laboratory. As Miyu ran her hand over the scanner, the door opened to reveal Dr. Callard, the man without whom time travel would not have existed. He was deep in his papers on his large desk. He looked up at the agents and smiled. His large laboratory was composed of his desk and several tables where many papers were placed. Resting on one of the steel walls was a large whiteboard with many written formulas.

"Ah here are my favorite agents! So this last mission?

- Everything went well! We succeeded in stopping this killer without any problem! answered Lena with a big smile.

- But we have another mission for the moment doctor.

- Miss Tanaka, as serious as ever and you agent Dimitrov, as mysterious as ever?

- Да, that's my role

- And you Miss Deauclair, always so cheerful."

Dr. Callard had been working with the agents for a few years, having lived all his life in Guadeloupe, it took him over 20 years of intense research to unravel the mystery of time travel. For him, this project was his life's work. All around him, these years of research hung on the walls, and suddenly, he began to write on his computer, the light reflecting on his black skin marked by the passage of time. Dark circles appeared on his face, proof of his fatigue. The doctor was used to staying whole nights in his laboratory.

"Agent James asked me to help you in your quest.

- Do you know where I started looking?" asked Dimitrov.

- Start with the main computer, it may help you."The agents thanked Dr. Callard and then headed to the main computer room.
