Léna switched off Athena, then turned slowly to the other two agents. Time was running out, and the agents knew it. They rushed out and raced to find Agent James, who was not answering his phone. After a frantic race, they found him surrounded by security guards. Agent James turned to them and stared at Yumi."Yumi Tanaka, I'm sorry but we have to get you away from this case. We've discovered that the client is Japanese, and your computer was used to send emails to the mercenaries. I would have wished otherwise, but my superiors have decided to place you in a cell. For our safety and yours."Léna's heart broke; she'd never completed a mission without Yumi. Dimitrov laid a reassuring hand on her shoulder. Yumi nodded and followed the security guards without flinching. Léna wanted to throw herself at Agent James, to vent her anger on him. But getting Yumi out of this situation was more important. Yumi would never betray the company. Lena and Dimitrov slammed the door, which echoed through the building. They walked briskly towards Dr. Callard's laboratory. When he heard the laboratory door open, he came upon two agents visibly upset with someone.
"Agent James has told you everything I suppose. Said the doctor- How can they think Yumi's guilty!" exclaimed Léna.- If I'm not mistaken, they found Yumi's computer with emails from the mercenaries on it, didn't they? I think it was Agent Markus who found the e-mails.- The bastard!" replied Dimitrov.Doctor Callard turned completely to the two agents."He came by this morning with a computer, he needed one of my tools to analyze the computer.- Yumi's computer?" asked Léna.- A priori yes, even her personal computer. The company's computers are monitored. It's impossible to send an e-mail outside the company on these computers."Léna asked her hurriedly."Do you remember what color it was?- Gray, I think.- With stickers?- No none, I'd remember otherwise."A big smile and a hint of hope appeared on Léna's face. Dimitrov looked at her quizzically. She replied."Yumi's personal computer is gray and black and covered in stickers! It wasn't her personal computer! Markus lied."
Night had fallen on the city. Léna and Dimitrov had gone to their favorite bar. Lucie greeted them with her usual big smile, but when she asked where Yumi was, the two agents claimed she was ill. When they found a table, Dimitrov asked her."Are you sure about the computer?- I know what Yumi's personal computer looks like.- How are we going to check it?- We'll have to infiltrate the evidence room.- Our badges don't give us access to that room, so how do you plan to do that? asked Dimitrov.- But James's badge gives access, so we'll have to borrow it.- You mean steal it?- Nah, just borrow it without asking him, we'll give him back his badge afterwards."Dimitrov was perplexed as Léna explained her plan. Cut off the cameras in the vicinity of the locker room, then infiltrate the interior. Then head for James's locker and steal his badge while he's in the shower."When James gets out of the shower, he'll see that his badge isn't there. explained Dimitrov.- We'll lock him in the shower a little longer, and I'll have to steal his locker access code first.- It's 7615. Dimitrov replied- How do you know that?- We often meet in the locker room at the same time and I've seen him make up his code. He takes his shower at 9 p.m. in the locker room. We've got to go nowLéna shuddered with excitement - they had a real undercover mission ahead of them! They finished their drinks and headed for the company building. Léna headed for the generator beyond. Luckily, she'd forgotten to fix the cameras just above it, as James had asked her to do. She took out a knife and cut the power cables to the cameras. Dimitrov pointed to a duct and they went inside.
