Yumi looked at the map, there wasn't much in the area. So after a few minutes of thinking, they decided to spend a night out. After stopping at a seemingly quiet place, Yumi called the machine that teleported in front of them. She climbed inside and took out some items. In each machine were tents, food, water, money, clothes and medical supplies. They set up the tents and a fire, but night fell quickly. Dimitrov glanced at Oppenheimer, who was tied to one of the car's chairs.
"What do we do with him?
- Should we tell him the purpose of our mission?
Markus answered.
- Of course not!
- But she's right Markus," Yumi explained, "we can't hide our purpose of protecting him. We've theoretically kidnapped someone important to this country.
- So we're just going to tell him about our mission? And tell him we're from the twenty-first century?
Yumi explained that Dr. Callard had given her a product to be used only in case of emergency. This product when administered will make the person forget what happened in the last few days. Lena offered not to reveal their identities completely to Oppenheimer. Just say that they were sent by an organization to protect him. To tell him that time travel exist would be too risky if he managed to escape. Dimitrov offered to start the surveillance, then Yumi, Markus and finally Lena. The night went smoothly, but when Lena walked to the car, Oppenheimer was fully conscious and asked them.
"Where am I and who are you?"
The silvers looked at each other, no one really knew how to start and explain the situation to him without shocking him too much. Dr. Oppenheimer looked at Markus and said.
"I know you! You are Thomas Brown!
- Yes we were in the lab together
- You kidnapped me! For espionage?
Markus awkwardly tries to explain the situation to him, but it makes Oppenheimer even more suspicious. When his gaze turned to Yumi, he was convinced that she was a Japanese spy. She quickly injected him with a sedative and Oppenheimer fell asleep again. Before any of the other three agents could say anything, Yumi got a message on her tablet. It was from Agent James asking them to bring Oppenheimer to their time. Dimitrov looked at the message.
"Bring Oppenheimer to our time? But he's crazy!
- Not really, it's probably the best way to protect him. If the mercenaries don't know we're bringing Oppenheimer, they'll search endlessly.
Lena looked at the machine
- I don't really feel it
