You're enough (Neteyam x Ao'nung)

Chapter 25 : stage two (anger)

"YOURE FUCKING LYING ROTXO!"

I run out of the marui, annoyed that my friends would try and prank me like that. "Ao'nung! Wait!" They try to follow me, but I am faster than them. I dive into the water, calling my Ilu in the process and gliding through the water, away from Tsireya and Rotxo.

I swim out of the reef, stumbling onto one of the islands, sinking into the sand. This is the island I was on when I got hunted by an Akula. I walk over to one of the smaller palm trees and lean my full weight on its branches.

I still have to apologize to Neteyam...

But Tsireya and Rotxo wouldn't let me go apologize, too busy with their stupid prank. I stand on the edge of the island, contemplating whether I should swim back to shore. "Ao! Please can you listen to us!" I turn around and see my sister walking towards me and putting a hand on my shoulder. "Why would I? You're trying to trick me!" Push her hand off and stare at her angrily.

"Ao, we're not trying to trick you, we're telling the truth!" I look at her with disgust. "I didn't expect that you would go this far for a prank" I start to walk away so I can dive in the water again, getting stopped by Rotxo's hand pulling me back. "Look bro, just come back to the marui with us, and we can talk about it" I want to go with him, I'm gonna do it.

I nod and silently follow the two other metkayina back to shore, and into the marui. "What's wrong?" He sits opposite me and smiles. What the fuck? "I- what?!" I look at him confused as he sits cross legged opposite me and leaning on his palms.

"I just want to know why you think we are pranking you" he looks at me with a stupid calm smile as Reya sits behind him, leaning against his shoulder with her eyes shut. "Because you fucking are?! Neteyam can't die- he wouldn't!" I speak it to them like it's the most obvious thing. "Ao, he is-" "why can't he die?" Rotxo interrupts Tsireya and glares at her, what was she going to say?

"Well, because he's Neteyam! He's done everything for everyone around him, never looking out for himself, why would eywa punish him?" I give them a small smile, hoping they will let me walk away. "Maybe this isn't punishment, maybe this is a rewards for him. Now he doesn't have to worry about anyone else anymore?" Rotxo shuffles closer so he can put a hand on my shoulder.

"I don't know"

Hey yo another chapter done! I'm trying to make it like a reference to the kübler-Ross grief cycle but I don't really understand how to write them so yeahhhhh
