It had been a warm day on plant island. The sun was shining, the plants were growing, and there was a slight breeze. Parlsona had been awakened by a sudden ring, it was her phone. She turned over and looked at her phone, realizing it was Tawkerr, she answered it.
"Hey Tawks! Why are you calling me?"
"Hey Parls, sorry I called so early, but I need to talk to you behind the castle when you're free."
"Okay, I'll be there after I eat breakfast."
"Okay! I'll see you then."
Tawkerr had been thinking about moving away from plant island to cold island, mainly due to the monsters mistreating him. He needed to move away before it could get worse. He also knew that Maggpi had moved there recently, enticing him to move there even more.
Parlsona walked downstairs and ate her breakfast, she had ordered a cupcake and a coffee, she thought to herself "Why does Tawkerr need me behind the castle..?" because he usually only meets her behind there if it's a very serious topic. She didn't realize how quickly she was eating due to her thoughts, so she was pretty surprised to have seen no more food on her plate. She brushed it of and started walking away. She wasn't paying attention and ran right into Tawkerr, causing him to fall down.
"Oh shit, are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine."
"Sorry about running into you..."
"You're fine Parls, I only fell down."
"Okay, but what did you want to talk to me about?"
Tawkerr immediately went pale, just thinking about leaving Parlsona all alone on plant island was gut-wrenching, but he knew he had to do it. He looked at the ground and started to explain.
"Parlsona, the reason I wanted you to come behind the castle is that I wanted to tell you that I'm moving away from plant island. I've thought about this for a long time, and I've decided that I need to move there for my safety. I don't feel safe here because of the other monsters, they've made threats against me, and have tried to assault me. I'm moving to cold island because I'm also adapted to live there, I'm sorry I'm telling you on such short notice, but I just needed some time to think..."
Tawkerr averted his gaze from the ground up to Parlsona, expecting her to be angry or sad, but instead she was giving him a reassuring smile.
"Tawkerr, I completely understand why you're moving, and I wish only the best for you, if you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always here."
"Thanks Parls, I truly appeciate you. I'm gonna start packing up now."
2 HOURS LATER
Tawkerr was almost done packing his bags before he received a text message from Maggpi, he was surprised to see it, since Maggpi typically calls, but he read it anyways.
"Hey Tawkerr, I heard you're moving to cold island, when are you coming?"
"Hey! I'm actually moving there tomorrow, why?"
"I was gonna ask you if you needed any help unloading your bags when you get there."
"That'd be great! Thanks Maggpi!"
"No problem, so you soon!"
After putting down the phone, Tawkerr couldn't help but smile. Although he was sad to leave his childhood home behind, he was excited to turn a new leaf. He was excited to move to a new area, but still have friends, and possibly make some more. He finished packing his bags, so he took them down to the balloon, where Parlsona was waiting to help him load his bags on. As they were loading the bags onto the balloon, Parlsona started talking.
"Hey Tawkerr..."
"Yeah Parls?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Go ahead."
Parlsona started to blush.
"I have a crush on Stoowarb, and I wanna tell him, so how should I do that?"
"I knew you had a crush on him! I'm not sure, since I've never experienced this myself, but I would make subtle advances, and if he doesn't notice those, then I'd do things a little less subtle."
"That makes sense, I appreciate your advice."
"No problem! If you ever need advice, you can come to me."
The two went back to loading the bags onto the air balloon while listening to music. The two waited until the song was over to say goodbye to eachother.
"Man I love that song." Tawkerr said
"Me too!"
"Hey, Parls, I really appreciate everything you've done for me. I'll come visit you on air sometime."
"No problem Tawkerr, I'd appeciate if you did visit, I hope you enjoy your time on cold island, have a good one."
"You too!"
As Tawkerr said this, the balloon immediately started lifiting off. Parlsona started waving at Tawkerr until he was out of sight. When Tawkerr was in the sky, he laid down and fell asleep, dreaming of his new life on cold island.
