October 17-Metropolis, Delaware
"Good morning!" You smiled as you passed out coffees and doughnuts to your friends.
"You still in a good mood?" Jimmy asked.
"I am!"
"What's been going on this past week?" Cat asked.
"I just feel happier."
"Clearly." Lois said as she took a sip of her coffee.
When you heard the elevator ding, you all turned your heads in that direction. Clark stepped out of it and walked over to you.
"Hey, guys!"
"You're on time." Cat pointed out.
"Yes, I am."
"Amber is chipper and brought us breakfast, and Smallville is on time. We're in a parallel universe."
"Ever since you got back from Gotham, you guys are totally different people." Jimmy joked. "What happened at that gala?"
You looked at each other and shook your heads.
"We probably just really needed the break." You told them as you followed Clark to your desk.
"Something is going on."
"You're right, Cat. There's no way that everything is normal between them."
"What are you suggesting?" Jimmy asked.
"I say we put our journalistic talents to good use."

You and Clark were looking for story ideas together, when Jimmy walked up to you.
"Hey, Clark. The printer is jammed again. You mind giving me a hand?"
"Sure! I'll be right back."
As they went into the copy room, Cat walked over to you and sat on the corner of your desk.
"Hey, do you still have that extra-strength aspirin in your purse? My cramps are killing me."
"Yeah, just let me find it." You said as you looked in your bag.
Lois quietly came up behind you and grabbed your phone off the desk. She slipped it into her pocket and walked to the bathroom.
"Got it!"
You handed her the pill and set your purse back down.
"Thanks! You rock!" She exclaimed as she ran into the bathroom.
Clark came back to the desk and sat down next to you.
"You okay?"
"I can't find my phone."
Lois and Cat went into the handicapped stall and opened up your phone.
"So, why did we have to take her phone?" Cat asked.
"Because, everyone keeps their secrets in their phone. What's the password?"
"Why are you asking me?"
"What's her birthday?"
"I don't remember, but she's a sagittarius."
