Hunter had spent the rest of the day mostly minding his own business, cleaning his guns, and reading a random book called 'The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring.' He had found it in a random pile of human item's and apparently it was meant to be a sequel to the Hobbit. And Hunter absolutely loved it, to him it was even better than it's predecessor. He had actually been so enamored that it was only until chapter eight that he finally noticed Luz and King on the floor next to him. The later of which had some kind of sock stuck to his snout while the former was sitting on a surprisingly large book and holding a dark blue rectangular object with bat wings on it.
"And here we have the most fearsome creature in the world, the King of demons." She said monologuing in a light British accent. "Facing his natural enemy, the ducky sock." As she continued King clawed apart the sock on his snout before ripping it in half and pounding the remains with his small fist's. "Where are you now ducky sock!?" He yelled at the cloth remains.
"So, why'd you call me here again?" Luz asked innocently. "Yeah I'm wondering the same thing myself." Hunter said. Luz and King jumped in fear at the sudden voice as they finally realized that someone was laying on the couch. "What? I was here the whole time." He pointed out. "And again, what are you doing?"
"Oh, I was just invited here by, King." Luz explained. "Then why do you have that small rectangle out?"
"It's my phone." Luz showed it off to him and apparently it had bat wings and and a small face on the back.
"There is no way that piece of glass and plastic is a phone." Hunter denied. "
"It totally is, and it also doubles as a camera."
"Of course it does." Hunter deadpanned honestly not even trying to understand future technology since it made no damned sense anyways.
"Would you guys stop jabbering? I can't teach a lesson if everyone is talking." King complained. The two humans silenced themselves out of respect. "Thank you."
The small demon then jumped onto a large chest with a board on top of it covered by a red cloth. Meanwhile Luz put up her phone and began recording again. "Human, Luz, you've been so obsessed with witchcraft that you haven't learned anything about my kind. So prepare yourself for... " King them pulled off the cloth revealing the board to be covered in photographs, notes, and illustration's of demons and monsters as the small canine dawned a dark blue academic hat. "... To demons 101!" He excitedly introduced. Hunter's attention was immediately caught and put his book on the ground next to the couch as he sat up and sent his attention towards the small demon.
"Demons like me are grim trickster's of the twilight, creatures of sulfur and bone"
"And cute little paws." Luz added much to both Kings and Hunter's annoyance.
"Yes and cute little paws. True." He sighed in said annoyance. "We live only to create chaos and misery. Our only weaknesses are purified water, and passive aggressive comments, sometimes."
"Aww, the big bad demon's are sensitive." Luz cooed.
"Even demon's have inner demons." King said darkly. Then the small professor ripped away several photos from the board revealing an illustration of a monstrous creature. It has pink skin and clawed hands with a mouth full of razor sharp teeth and a large spiked shell on it's back. "The most powerful demon of all is the Snaggleback. He's a--."
"Bad boy." Luz interrupted yet again as she started messing with her phone. "Luz, pay attention, this information could save your life someday." King said.
"He's got a point, Luz. And besides he obviously put a lot of effort into this, to just ignore him and mess around is not only annoying but disrespectful." Hunter said talking down to Luz from the couch.
