The Gauntlet

*My POV*

EC, Leo, Raph and I are training while Cameron and Crystal watches us. Just in case something goes wrong. Eleanor is being taking a nap. Then Donnie and Lyla came in excited. "Check it out, guys. We are about to take our ninjutsu to a while new level." Donnie and Lyla said carrying 4 patched eggs. Mayan came in and saw. Mine, EC and Mayan's eyes widen as we knew the gadget and episode. "Donnie, Lyla, you just made...." Mayan said as Cameron gets up. "Ninja smoke bombs!" EC, Mayan, Cameron and I said. He gave me an egg and I threw it down causing smoke and disappeared and went to the other side with a poof. I smiled as they looked at me amazed at Donnie and Lyla's work. "I got this Donnie, Lyla. IN order to make them. They carefully drill two holes in an eggshell without cracking it, slowly blow out the inside of the egg, wait for the inside to dry, then pour flash powder and seal both holes with wax." EC explained. They all nodded. "Now, we have to use them sparingly cause they took a long time to make." Mayan and I said. "I'm making breakfast! Who wants omelets?" Mikey asked. Mayan's eyes widen. "MIKEY, WAIT THAT'S NOT RE-" Mayan got cut off by a boom and smoke went everywhere and we see Mikey covered in smoke on the face. He coughs. "Mikey, are you alright?" Mayan asked wiping off the smoke off his face. "Yea, but I think that wasn't a rotten egg." He said. Mayan grabbed the bowl and give him five eggs. He looked at her confused. Mayan holds the bowl tightly. "There not eggs, there ninja smoke bombs." I said. Mikey's eyes sparkle that made Mayan blush. 'Why has he gotta be so cute?!' Mayan thought. "Shut up." Mikey said excited and threw the egg down. That's one. He appeared on the tree branch. "This..." Mikey said as he threw it down again. That's two. He appeared by the tree. "Is the best day..." Mikey said as he threw it down again. That's three. He appeared upside down. "Of my life!" Mikey finished and threw the egg down again. That's four. "Mikey, stop!" Donnie said. "Don't worry Donnie, I gave him five." Mayan whispered to him and Mikey threw it down again. "And that's five." I said. He appeared next to Donnie. He hugged him. "I love you, man. Seriously." Mikey said as he hugs him in a brotherly way. Lyla and Mayan smiled. 'Aw, brother love.' Lyla and Mayan thought. "Guys!" April said. We run to the living room to see April running in. "Guys, you'll never believe what happened to me." April said as she sat down. I sat down next to her. "Let me guess. Being hunted down by a giant mutant pigeon?" EC, Lyla, Mayan and I asked. She looked at us shocked. "How did you four...." She said. "Episode 9: The Gauntlet. Know this anywhere." EC said. Raph then begins to laugh. "I'm sorry. B-But think about it." Raph said. "Yes, even we have to admit it is pretty funny." EC, Lyla, Mayan and I said as we giggled. Crystal went off to her room. I give an egg to Mikey. "Could you get Sensei for us, please?" I asked. He nodded and threw it down and appeared as Sensei. "Michelangelo said you wanted to see me?" Sensei asked. 

(After explaining what happened)

"Well it happens when birds can't see glass." Lyla said. "And not only by that, he said my name and Izzy's." She said. My eyes widen. "Pete is looking for Izzy to?" Mayan asked. They looked at her curious. "That's his name. He's a very sweet and kinda stupid friend of yours." Mayan said. They 'oooh.' silently, getting the picture. "But why is he a friend?" She asked. "Because he was trying to give you a message, from your dad." EC said, she gasped. "His speed is going to be fast, so that's why we need to get him down safely." I said. "How are we gonna do that?" EC, Lyla and Mayan asked. "It's crazy, but me and April are going as bait. After when he gets close, pin him down so that way, he won't hurt himself." I said. "WHAT?!?!?!" Everyone except me, Splinter and April said. "Are you crazy?! What if you both get hurt?" Cameron asked. "Don't worry, it'll be fine as long as we Pete, if we did get hurt I'll take the first hit before April. Plus in order to get him, we gotta use this." I said taking bread out. "Pigeons love bread." Lyla said. They sighed hoping that I am right. "Ok, off to the surface!" I said as we head to the surface but Sensei stopped us. "We do not yet know what you are all facing. Perhaps you should study your enemy before confronting him." He said. As the guys talk about this, EC, Lyla, Mayan and I come to realization. 'This is where we first encounter the Shredder!' EC, Lyla, Mayan and I thought as we snapped out of it and I hear my name being called. "Lo-....Izzy, you ok?" Leo asked as they all looked at us. "We're fine, let's get Pete." We said as we all head to the surface.
