Gale walks into the police station. Gabbie looks up from her seat and sees Gale walking over.
"Mommy!" Gabbie yells and runs over to her mom.
Gale puts out her arms and lets Gabbie into them.

"Are you ok?" Gale asks Gabbie.
"I'm scared mama." Gabbie mutters.
"It's all gonna be alright." Gale lets go of Gabbie.
Gale takes Gabbie's hand as they walk over to Dewey.

They both walk over to the room Sidney is being interviewed in. Gale goes to talk to Dewey, but Hicks stops her.

"Excuse me, Gale, he's conducting an interview."
"Great! I love interviews."
"You're gonna have to wait, Gale, sorry. Can't let you in there."
"What are you gonna do? Arrest me, deputy Judy?"
"If it comes to it. Civilian interference with a police investigation poses many a problem in a court of law."

"Ok listen to me, Judy. I don't mind that you're working with my husband or how you make him those little treats, as you do. But if you're gonna start acting like him, you're gonna need to put a mustache on because you sound ridiculous." Gale fights and Gabbie just looks at her.

Gale goes to open the door and Judy starts yelling at her and Gale yells back. Dewey looks up and sees them at the door fighting. He walks over and opens the door.

"Judy, Gale. Can you please, uh Sidney if you don't mind." Dewey mutters.
"Sid." Gale smiles at her while she leaves the interview room.
"Hi, Gale." Sidney says as she walks out.
"Dewey, could you please explain to Betty Crocker that I have every right to be here."

"Gabbie, go over with Sidney." Gale let's go of Gabbie's hand. Gabbie listens to her mom and walks over to Sidney.
"Hey Auntie Sid." Gabbie smiles up at Sidney.
"Hey Gab." Sidney smiles and picks Gabbie up.

"Why were you getting interviewed?" Gabbie asks.
"Your dad just wanted to ask me some questions." Sidney smiles.
"I'm scared." Gabbie mutters.
"Hey, nothing's gonna happen to you." Sid reassures.
"What if something happens to you, mommy, or daddy?" Gabbie says trying to hold back tears.
"Nothing will." Sidney pushes a piece of hair out of Gabbie's face.

Gale walks over to Sid and Gabbie.
"Come on Gabbie. We're leaving." Gale says sounding pissed off.
Sidney places Gabbie back down. Gabbie walks over to her mom.

Gale grabs Gabbie's hand and they walk out of the police station.
"Are you ok mama?" Gabbie asks.
"Your father is just getting on my nerves."
"Oh."

They continue walking and they're stopped by Sidney's manager.
"Excuse me, I have to geek out. I didn't get a chance to say anything earlier, but it's such an honor to meet you."
"Oh thank you."
Gabbie just looks up at the lady.

"Rebecca Walters."
"Hi." They shake hands.
"When I was a kid, it was all about Top Story with Gale Weathers. You were my nineties."
"Well, it's Gale Riley now."
"You have it all up for love, and a child, I know that." Rebecca looks down at Gabbie.

"How long have you and Dewey been marries?"
"10 years."
"Aww, just like your characters in Stab 3. Wow."
"Wow." Gale mocks Rebecca.
Gale start walking again.

"I didn't mean bad wow, it just always seemed more of a movie romance, than a real one because it was a movie. And in real life you two will never be..." Rebecca stops when Gale gives her the death stare.

"Ooh, dug a hole. Climbing out here, so anyway kudos on being brave enough to drop off the professional map. Any plans on revitalizing your tarnished brand?"
Gale walks in front of her, "In about two seconds I'm gonna revitalize your face with my tarnished brand."

Gale continues walking away.
"I still got it." She mutters to herself.
"I don't like that lady." Gabbie chimes in.
"Me neither." Gale agrees.

A few hours later

Gale drops Gabbie off at Jill's house. Sidney agreed to watch her.

Gabbie sat next to Dewey and Sidney sat on the other side of the couch. Gabbie wraps her arm around Dewey's arm and listens to their conversation.

"How are you? How's Gale?" Sidney asks Dewey.
"I'm alright, but Gale, it's been hard on her. Small town, small town husband, not much to write about."
"You two ok?"
"Well I read somewhere once, just when you think things can't get any worse, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they get better. Out of Darkness by Sidney Prescott page 220. I gotta get going." Dewey smiles.

"No don't leave yet daddy." Gabbie holds onto Dewey's arm harder.
"I'm sorry, Gab, I have to get back to work." Dewey tells Gabbie.
"Ok." Gabbie mutters and lets go.

Dewey goes to leave but Gabbie shouts out his name.
He looks back and Gabbie runs over and hugs him.
"I love you daddy." Gabbie mutters.
"I love you too." Dewey let's go of her.

Gabbie walks back over to the couch. She sits next to Sidney.
"Do you think my parents are gonna be ok?"
"What do you mean?"
"They haven't been getting along lately."
"Gabbie, they're gonna be ok. It's just a rough patch they're going through. You have nothing to worry about." Sidney pulls Gabbie into a hug.

They let go.
"I'm really tired." Gabbie yawns.
"Let's go up to the guest room." Sidney says.
They walk up stairs to the guest room where they're staying.

Gabbie lays in the bed and Sidney tucks her in.
"Goodnight Gabbie." Sidney smiles before leaving.

Sidney goes over to check on Jill. She open the door and sees a boy with Jill.
"Oh sorry I didn't." Sidney stutters.
"No, he's just leaving. It's my ex." Jill explains.
"Oh."

"The one and only. It's cool to meet you, officially. I keep meaning to pick up a copy of the book. You're smaller in person. " Trevor mutters towards Sidney.

Jill looks over at Sidney staring at her.
"What?" Jill asks.
"Nothing, you just remind me of, uh, me. Lock your window ok." Sidney leaves her room.
