Act 4

Dewey meets up with the medics pushing Gabbie's stretcher. He pulls Gabbie's limp hand into his.
"You're gonna be ok, Gab." Dewey whispers.
They continue to walk through the hospital.

"Can you put her in the bed next to her mom's?" Dewey asks.
"Sure." The doctor says.
They turn into the room Gale is in. She looks over to the door and sees Gabbie coming through a stretcher. The doctors lift Gabbie onto the bed from the stretcher.

"Dewey." Gale mutters.
Dewey hears her and walks over.
"Is she gonna be ok? Please tell me our baby is ok!" Gale starts to cry.
"They're gonna put in stitches and we have to wait for her to wake up." Dewey tells Gale.
"Ok." Gale mutters.

The doctors set up Gabbie to their machines. She had a faint heartbeat. A doctor quickly stitched her up. Now the rest would take time.

15 minutes later

Dewey and Gale hear heavy breathing coming from Gabbie's bed. Dewey quickly rushes over to Gabbie. He sees her eyes flutter open.
"Daddy?" Gabbie mutters.
"I'm so happy that you're alive!" Dewey starts to cry.
"Please don't cry." Gabbie tells Dewey.

"Where's mommy?" Gabbie asks.
"She's right there." Dewey says as he moves so Gabbie can see Gale.
"Hey, babygirl." Gale smiles through her tears.
"Don't cry." Gabbie mutters.
"I'm sorry." Gale chuckles.
"It's ok mama."
"If I could, I would be over there giving you the tightest hug."
"I'd be doing the same thing to you." Gabbie smiles.

Dewey hugs Gabbie, being cautious of her stitches.
"I'm gonna go check on Jill. She should be awake by now." Dewey tells Gale and Gabbie.

"Wait, please tell me Sidney is ok." Gabbie tells Dewey.
"It's touch and go, but we're hopeful she'll make it."

Dewey walks into Jill's room. Her eyes shift open.
"Jill, you made it. That's all that matters."
"Trevor and Charlie tried to kill me and I heard they killed my mom, and Robbie, and Kirby too."
"Shhh just lay back."

"Is your wife ok?"
"She's gonna be fine. She's in recovery."
"What about your daughter?"
"She's awake, she's just traumatized and in pain."

"If I ever write a book one day, I'd want her to write it with me. We would be a good team with our matching wounds and all. We're survivors now. I just wish Sidney was too."
"Jill, they're not sure yet, it's still touch and go, but she's in ICU. They think Sidney might just make it."

"What? But, I saw Trevor kill her."
"Look, we don't know yet, but she's hanging on."
"I wanna see her."
"She's not awake yet. She might not remember anything. You'll have to help her with that. It's all ok time. Get some rest now, ok?" Dewey says before leaving the room.

Gale and Gabbie's Room

"Wait, did daddy say he's going to see Jill?" Gabbie asks her mom.
"Yeah, why?" Gale asks.
"She's the killer. She was telling Sid and I that she was going to frame it on Trevor and Charlie to get famous." Gabbie tells Gale.

Gale unhooks her IVs and gets out of her bed.
"Mama! Where are you going?" Gabbie asks.
"Sweetheart, I need to save your dad and Sidney from Jill. Please stay here. It's the way you'll be the safest." Gale tells Gabbie.
Gabbie nods sadly and Gale brushes Gabbie's face with the back of her hand and then kissed her forehead.

"I love you." Gale tells Gabbie.
"I love you too." Gabbie says before Gale leaves.

Gale walks down the hallway and sees Dewey walking back from Jill's room.
"Gale? What are you doing out of bed?" Dewey asks.
"It's Jill. She framed Trevor and Charlie. She killed them. Gabbie told me."
"Oh no." Dewey mutters before they both run to Jill's room.

They enter the room and see her gone. They run to Sidney's room. Dewey is about to go in, but he stops.
"Gale, stay out here. I'll handle it."
"Dewey!" Gale whisper shouts.
"Protect Gabbie." Dewey says before he runs in.

Dewey runs in the room and doesn't see anyone. He looks over and sees Sidney on the floor.
"Dewey!" Sidney yells before Jill jumps out and hits Dewey over the head with a metal container repeatedly until he's unconscious.

Jill takes his gun and points it at Sidney.
"This how it's gonna be Sid? The ending of the movies was supposed to be at the house. I mean, this is just silly." Jill says frustratedly.
"Consider this an alternate ending. You're never getting out of this Jill."
"Of course I will!"

"Dewey!" Gale yells before walking in the room. Jill quickly points the gun at Gale, making her jump.
"Sid. Wait, what about the book?" Gale mutters.
"Looks like I'll have to write it myself."

Judy jumps and grabs onto Gale, pushing her out of the way. They both land on the floor and hide behind a hospital bed.
"Don't even think about shooting or I'll blow Dewey's head off." Jill points the gun at Dewey.

"What you think I won't do it? Give me your gun." Jill shouts.
"Do it!" Gale tells Judy.
Hicks slowly gets up with her arms in the air.

"Give me your gun." Jill tells Judy.
Judy just stares at her.
"What are you deaf? Give me your gun!" Jill says forcefully.
Judy throws her gun over the bed and Jill shoots her in the chest.

"Now get up, bitch." Jill now aims the gun towards Gale.
"Ok." Gale starts to get up.
"Get up! Now! Come on. Let's go. Get your skinny ass out here."
"Ok." Gale whispers now standing completely out from behind the bed.

"I'm gonna enjoy blowing your head off." Jill tells Gale.
"Ok, but, can I just have one finally word?"
"What? Please?"
"No. Clear!"
"Clear?" Jill mocks.
"Clear." Sidney says from behind Jill before using the defilibrator on her head.

"You forgot about the first rule of remakes Jill. Don't fuck with the original."

Gale looks over to Dewey.
"Oh my god, Dewey."
"What hit me?"
"Don't ask." Sid chimes in.

Gabbie comes into the room and sees Sidney, Gale and Dewey on the ground.
"Mama?" Gabbie says from behind Gale.
"Sweetheart. Come here." Gabbie sits down in between Dewey and Gale.
"Is dad ok?" Gabbie asks.

Gale wraps her arms around Gabbie and gives her a tight hug. She rubs Gabbie's back. Gabbie clings on tight to her mom.

Gabbie, Gale, and Dewey all jump when they here a gunshot. They look over and see Sidney shoot Jill in the head. Gabbie jumps and puts her face against Gale's shoulder.

Deputy Hicks then comes up from behind the bed.
"Nice one."
"Hicks, you're alive?"
"Wear your vest, save your chest." Hicks says before collapsing to the ground.

"I have to officers down, several injuries, and a new suspect." Dewey mutters in his walkie talkie before passing out.
Gabbie holds onto Dewey's hand.
"It's gonna be ok, daddy." Gabbie mutters.
"We need a doctor, goddamn it!" Gale yells before leaving the room in search for a doctor.

Gabbie hears Sidney talk, so she rushes over to her.
"Sidney." Gabbie smiles, happy that she's alive.
"I thought you died." Gabbie mutters.
"Lucky for you, I'm still here." Sidney smiles.
"I love you Auntie Sid."
"I love you too." Sidney smiles.
