Woodsboro Hospital

Sidney and Gabbie walk out of the hospital room. Rebecca comes over and tells Sidney about all of the new things that she has planned for Sidney's career.
"Have you even read my book." Sidney asks.
Rebecca denies reading it.

Rebecca tries to continue to tell Sidney.
"I won't be needing you anymore."
"Sidney." Rebecca whines.
"You're fired." Sidney says as she walks away.
"Fired?"
"Fired."

Gabbie smiles up at Sidney. Sidney smiles back down at Gabbie.
"I never liked her." Gabbie adds.
"Me neither." Sidney laughs.

The next day

Gale and Sidney are at the Cinema Club in Woodsboro high school. Sidney is sitting down at a desk and Gale is standing.

Robbie and Charlie explain how they broadcast everything and that's what the killer is missing.

"Who do you think is behind the murders?" Sidney asks.
"Well it's a Stab fanatic, clearly. Working on less of a sequel more of a remake. Cause all there is now is remakes." Charlie continues to talk.

Kirby gets Sidney's attention and shows her the broadcast. Robbie joins Charlie in explaining.

"You pretty much have to be gay." People start to giggle.

"So why are you so sure that the killer is working by the rules of a horror remake?" Gale asks.
They explain how it resembles the previous movies.

"Are there any parties happening tonight?"
"Well the stab-a-thon."
"Well you have to call it off."
"Um, ok, I mean it's Friday I'm sure we're not the only party that's going on in Woodsboro."

"Where is this circle-jerk gonna take place?" Gale asks.
"Who's ready for this Q and A?" Charlie asks, ignoring the question.
"No, I really want the location."
"You know, it's kind of an underground thing, e-mail invite. It's pretty secret."
"What? You're not gonna tell me, really? We're working together. Remember?"

"So you looking for that Q and A?"
"Fuck you." Gale says before wrapping her arm around Sidney's shoulder to signal they're leaving.
The two of them walk out.

Later that day

Sidney, Gabbie, and Jill are all in Jill's house. Jill walks out to the kitchen and Sid and Gabbie follow.
"You know when people say I know how you feel? But you know they're just saying that because they really have no freaking idea how you feel. I know how you feel." Sidney tells Jill.

Sidney takes a deep breath, "I'm so sorry about Olivia."
"I'm sorry about your publicist. How do you handle it, people staring at you all the time?"
"People stare at me?"
"I can never handle that kind of attention, I just felt like it would take over your whole life."

Sidney walks over and lays her arms against the counter.
"What I do is um, try not to think about me, I have people I care about, I focus on them." Sidney says and looks back at Gabbie.

"And the rest just works out."
"I wonder if I was brave enough to do the same thing."
"I really hope you never need to find that out."
"If you need me, you know where to find me, I'll be up in my room."

Jill leaves and Gabbie walks over to Sidney. Sidney sees something in the reflection of the window. Gabbie watches Sid in confusion as she looks through the living room.
"Are you ok?"
"Yeah."

They both go and sit on the couch together and read.
They read for about 10 minutes before Sidney's phone rings.

"Hey, Sid."
"Hey, Dewey."
"Please don't tell Gabbie this because she will freak out." Dewey warns Sidney.
"Ok, I won't." Sidney agrees.
"Gale was stabbed in the shoulder, we're heading to the hospital now."
"Is she gonna be ok?"
"Yes, she's strong, she'll make it."
"Ok that's good."
"Bye, Sid, be careful."
"I will, Dewey, you be careful too."
They hang up.

"Who was it?" Gabbie asks.
"Your dad." Sidney mutters.
"Is he alright?" Gabbie asks.
"Yeah he was just checking on us."
"Oh ok."

Sidney gets up and goes outside. Gabbie follows because she was afraid to be alone. Sidney takes the wind chimes from the front porch. She then goes back inside.

They go to the kitchen and get drinks. The wind chimes go off again.
"What was that?" Gabbie asked.
"Wind chimes." Sidney said as she walked over to the chimes. Gabbie followed close behind. She watches Sidney pick up a knife.

She stays behind Sidney as she looks through the door's window. Jill's mom pops out and shows Sidney the wind chimes.
"That was me, I was trying to fix them, sorry."

"I'm just back from the store."
"You're shopping." Sidney asks and Gabbie looks at them confused.
"I have one more bag in the car, I'll be right back." Kate walks back outside.

Sidney and Gabbie hold each others hand and walk back into the kitchen. Sidney takes the groceries out of the bags with her other hand.

The phone then starts to ring. Sidney walks over to the phone and Gabbie follows without taking her hand off.
"Jill, you gonna get that?" Sidney asks.
No answer.

Sidney picks up the phone.
"You're a survivor, aren't you Sidney? You're one and only skill, you survive. I have one question for you. What good is it to be a survivor with the trauma that everyone close to you is dead?"
"Who are you?"
"Turn on the tv to channel 6."
"Who the fuck are you!"
"Turn it on. Watch the teaser."
Sidney turns on the tv and Gabbie looks over at it.

"What?" Gabbie asks as her voice breaks.
"Gabbie." Sidney mutters.
"She was stabbed." Gabbie starts to cry.
Sidney quickly turns off the tv. She wraps her free arm around Gabbie.

"Glad you came home, Sidney? Has it been worth it yet?"
"Why are you doing this?" Sidney asks.
"Friends count, but it's the family ties that cut deep. Am I right?"
"What do you mean?"
"The ones you care about most. And what's closer than family? The bond of blood."
"Don't."
"You can't save them. The only thing you can do is watch." Ghostface starts to laugh and Sidney runs upstairs while holding Gabbie's hand.
