The next morning the team, the whole of Boise PD and their mother has gathered in the station. We're all standing next to each other about to present the profile.

"Most of us take the internet for granted", Emily starts. "We forget about texts that we share or updates we put on social networks. But the internet never forgets. Once it's out there, it's out there forever."

"By putting the deaths of these woman online for his fans to see, he craves some kind of immortality. Maybe some sort of status." Hotchner continues.

"He recognises his face on theirs and kills them as a way of saying 'this is what I look like'." Reid says. He continues with a theory he has found about the victims faces and how the unsub must mathematically, have the same kind of face. One eye just a tad lower than the other. Morgan chimes in and says that this also informs his compulsion to take the victims with him after he killed them. He's willing to go that extra mile and risk just to take them back with him. "He takes them to a secondary location where we believe he preserves them." Hotchner adds. He looks at you and nods.

You take a silent but deep breath and continue "this unsub is an expert with computers and home networks. So look into criminal records of men with extensive computer training."
Reid gives some other examples of jobs to look out for.

Rossi adds to that that he will lash out if his self worth it attacked or damaged, he will lash out. "So if you find this unsub, do not challenge him publicly."

You take another breath. "Say you just want to talk to him, see if he knows anything about the mastermind behind all of this. We know this is difficult but under no circumstances should you denigrate him. We need to talk up his exploits as if we respect him and his work."

Hotchner thanks everyone for listening and everybody scatters. He walks over to you, "you did good agent."

You thank him quietly, feeling your cheeks burning with fire. Objectively, you didn't say all that much but it felt like you were citing the bible from your head. Your boss must notice your nervousness and he puts his large hand on your shoulder, lightly squeezing it "you're okay, you did well." You finally meet his eyes, they're still dark but you see a little sparkle. Its quick, like it was just a split second. You take another deep breath and thank him for his kind words. Then you both realise he's been standing there with his hand on your shoulder for a couple of minutes. He quickly lets go. "Take a couple a minutes to collect yourself. We'll see you in a bit." He starts to walk away but you follow him almost immediately, "I'm feeling fine actually." You give him a small smile. To your surprise, he returns one. Not a tight lipped smile, but an actual, proper smile.

It took a while but eventually you got the unsub. The team figured out his a connection he had, who made sure he had access to freezers where he stored the bodies. The way we found them was horrific actually, you feel like that picture might haunt you in your dreams if you're not careful.
