Forgive me/ninjago fanfic/ crystalised rewrite

Chapter 2

"What issss going on here" spoke Pythor with his slithering voice, the white serpentine with a long neck stood in the doorway, along with Assphera, a blue hooded serpentine. Harumi stood up swiftly and glared at them, speaking in her commanding voice.

"He had escaped, but I have it under control. He is powerless and weak. I was going to prepare him for the coming of our king" Lloyd felt a bit hurt when she had called him weak and powerless, but he knew she was only acting to save both of their lives. Harumi grabbed Lloyd roughly by the wrist.

"If you know what's good for you, you won't escape" they started walking towards the wide open room where a large pink crystal stood in the middle of the room, a dark silhouette standing inside of it, with the body of a humanoid figure that had horns curving backwards. Harumi grabbed some vengestone chains and tied him to the floor, whilst Lloyd was being held down by Mister F.

"Is the ritual ready to begin" he said in his low raspy voice. Harumi silently nodded.

"I'm glad you could join us, Lloyd. For the amazing day that we bring forth peace to ninjago once and for all"

Aspeherra grabbed her staff and book, setting out the golden weapons by placing them in front of the large crystal. She started reciting the spell that would allow him to return.

Ven-ge ictin! Ven-ge quisay! Ven-ge fosar! Ven-ge jovit! Crystal King! Ven-ge ictin! Ven-ge quisay! Ven-ge-fosar! Crystal King! Ven-ge-ictin! Ven-ge-quisay! Ven-ge-fosar! Ven-ge-jovit! Crystal King! Aespheera started repeating these words, the large crystal started glowing pink and the council started to float up into the air, they got new armour that was purple and pink in color with several layers, the outfits varying between the council members. Once they landed on the floor again, the crystal king stepped outside.

"The overlord" Lloyd gasped recognising him.

"Lloyd Garmadon, we meet again" He smiled creepily.

"Indeed we do" Lloyd said through gritted teeth. Harumi was watching him as he tried pulling the chains, it was useless. The overlord turned over to Harumi who was standing there, and then looked over at the crystal council. 

"Together we shall bring peace to ninjago once and for all, with those wretched ninja gone I shall be be ruling ninjago as is my right" Lloyd pulled at his chains once again.

 He saw the golden weapons, they were covered in purple crystals and had been handed to each member of the council;

The shurikens of ice were being shared by the Mechanic and Mister f, the sword of fire was taken by Asspheera, the scythe of quakes was for Vangelis and Pythor took the nunchucks of lightning.

 The council members were all distracted by their fancy new weapons, the overlord was watching them closely. Harumi quietly snuck closer to Lloyd dropping a key and kicking it towards him. Lloyd gave her a thankful look and somehow managed to fiddle it just right to unlock it, conveniently his hands were tied in front of him and not behind his back. He sprung up bracing himself to start running.

"This reunion was lovely but I better get going" He said simply, starting to book it towards the exit and pulling the pale girl along with him. The crystal king roared in rage

"After them!" He roared. 

Harumi started running with him and through heaving breaths asked

"Where are you going, this temple is floating above the jungle theres no escape!"

"I'm sure we'll find a way" The adrenaline coursing through his veins was enough to keep him confident in his actions. They managed to reach the mouth of the temple looking down at the fall below them.

"See, I told you this is way too high to jump from" Harumi tried pulling backwards. 

"There's a river below here, if we land in it we might make it" Lloyd spoke with a confident tone. The crystal council reached the exit. 

"Hah, you two can't escape" The mechanic said laughing at them.

"Are you sure about that?" Lloyd asked with a slight smirk in his voice, he grabbed Harumi's hand and jumped over the edge, she let out a loud scream and hugged Lloyd tightly.

They now plummeted towards the ground.

"After them!" Vangelis said as he began to fly downwards,

"Not all of usss can fly" Aespheera snapped.

"Yeah, also its funny to make your prey think they have a chance to live before breaking their hope again" Pythor said clapping his hands together. Mr F simply looked at them as he was mute.

"Won't the crystal king be mad?" Vangelis huffed.

"Noooo, he'll be amazed at my genius idea" Pythor lifted his neck up in a proud way.

"YOU LET THEM ESCAPE?" The crystal king boomed "How could you all be so stupid, go now take those flying crystal dragons and find them, but bring them to me alive"
