Prime-evils eye was a colourful jungle full of dangerous creatures and plants. The undergrowth was thick under Lloyd and Harumi's steps, Lloyd used a sword to cut through the bush Harumi quickly and quietly following behind.

"Lloyd?" Harumi asked out of the blue, Lloyd turned his head.

"Yea?" He asked.

"Why would you help me, after everything I did why would you bring me with you?" She questioned.

"Because, I think everyone deserves a second chance and if someone is in need of help I find that its my duty to, if I can" Lloyd replied calmly "I think of it as my code, if I can help I will do everything in my power to"

"I guess that makes sense" They both continued walking in silence the only sounds were that of birds chirping in the trees and the whacking sound of Lloyd's sword hitting the bush. They both eventually stopped paying much attention to their surroundings, enough that Lloyd hit a small uneven tree root and tripped. Harumi fell right on top of him, yelping in surprise.

"Sorry" she said quickly standing up and brushing the dirt off her clothes

"Its fine" Lloyd replied "I should watch where I'm going anyways"

"So umm, this sure does feel familiar" Harumi shuffled her feet,

"Yeah, we've been here before back when we were trying to find the Oni mask of hatred" Lloyds voice trailed off at the end in a saddened tone the sudden memory of Harumi's initial betrayal coming to his mind.

"Are you alright?" She asked trying to put her hand to his shoulder, he brushed her off.

"Yes, i'm fine I should be over that stupid memory by now"

"It wasn't a stupid memory I understand that I hurt you and you don't have to be over it" Harumi avoided eye contact with Lloyd as she tended to do when she was nervously talking to someone "And no words can ever begin to describe how sorry I am that I did that, I fully take the blame for everything thats ever happened and you never have to forgive me. In fact I believe you giving me a second chance is kinder treatment than I deserve, it wasn't a stupid memory I betrayed you and left you feeling hurt and that wasn't ok no matter who anyone is they shouldn't have to experience that especially not you" She sighed finishing her apology.

"Wow, I don't really know what to say I never really expected you to be so sincere" Lloyd fidgeted with his hands nervously.

"You don't have to say anything, I just needed to say this" Harumi continued walking quietly as did Lloyd. They reached a small cliff at the right height that they could jump down safely. Both of them noticed that the ground was oddly soft and squishy.

"Lloyd, I don't think this is normal ground" Harumi called out.

"Its quicksand" He looked down and tried to move but it was too late, they were both knee high in the sand.

"If we can reach those vines I think we can make it out" Harumi said taking notice of the thick vines above her that were coming from a tree.

"Good idea" Lloyd outstretched his hand so his fingertips just barely reached the vines, he grabbed on tightly and managed to pull himself up just in time to reach for a thicker overlying branch. Harumi tried doing the same but failed as she wasn't as tall as Lloyd. The struggle made her sink even faster. Lloyd had grabbed the branch and was holding himself up on the branch

hanging there and moving, he jumped onto solid ground sighing in relief. Now I just have to save Harumi Lloyd thought looking around for a long enough twig to be able to pull her to safety. He spotted one, picking it up and reaching it towards her.

"Grab on" he called out she did as he said firmly grabbing the branch. Lloyd moved backwards eventually stumbling Harumi luckily got out however when she did she basically flew and fell towards him. Not again she groaned mentally. Lloyd calmly pushed her off and stood up again brushing off the quicksand on his gi, Harumi did the same with her purple armour. They walked for a few more minutes which felt like hours, when they reached a clearing. Harumi gazed up at the sky, her pupils became smaller once she saw the crystal kings temple from afar moving closer.

"Lloyd look" she pointed upwards, there were also some dragonoid figures flying in their direction.

"Run" he called out grabbing her hand again running towards the forest coverage, Harumi felt strange, closing her eyes and slightly rubbing them. The crystal dragonoids attention turned towards them as they sniffed the air for a human scent. The dragons had a muscular vengestone build with pink crystal spikes and wings. Atop of the two that had approached were Aespheera and Vangelis which was funny considering Vangelis himself could fly.

"Over there!" Aespheera pointed among the tall trees.

"How can you be so sure? I don't see anything" Vangelis grunted.

"Well I guess I just have better vision, after-all I am clearly better than you" Aespheera poised her neck up in a stuck up manner.

"At I have a more expanded vocabulary, all you ever say is revenge"

"Revenge!" she hissed as the crystal dragon plummeted downwards to the trees.

"Case in point" Vangelis huffed.

Both Lloyd and Harumi sprinted not knowing where to go.

"If we can find a place to hide maybe we can lose them" Lloyd heavily breathed.

"Maybe" Harumi said as she started to fall behind,

"Cmon," Lloyd grabbed her hand once more and started running, "Or do you need me to carry you" he laughed. Harumi rolled her eyes.

"I'm not a weakling," she pulled away from his hands and started running with him "See I can totally keep up"

"I never called you a weakling" Lloyd chuckled a bit quickly losing his smile as he noticed a loud crash behind him the crystal dragons or maybe aespheera and vangelis? Lloyd couldn't tell who it was but something was causing huge explosions behind them. He gave a small yell of surprise as his foot slipped. Below him lay a steep chasm,

"Don't slip!" Lloyd warned harumi.

"Where are we meant to go now!?" Harumi asked looking over to Lloyd who could only give a panicked and confused look in front.
