Forgive me/ninjago fanfic/ crystalised rewrite

Chapter 6

Harumi's POV:

I opened my eyes to get a good look at my surroundings. My head was hurting a lot as I took notice that I wasn't on the bounty anymore. I was in some sort of cave, but not the crystal kings temple thankfully. I heard voices, familiar ones which made me sigh in relief. It was Lloyd and the other ninja which meant I was safe for now at least.

"Shes awake!" A dark skinned female stood in front of me, she had long vibrant red hair tied back into a pony tail and bright amber eyes.

"Mmph" I managed to mumble, thats when I heard footsteps walk over and I saw lloyd heading in my direction.

"Rumi your alright" lloyd kneeled down to my level.

"Why does my shoulder hurt so much" I laughed a little as my hand went to feel it, there was a small wound where I had been struck by some sort of object.

"Let me guess the overlord slipped into my mind" I whispered over at lloyd just as he nodded.

"Guess I can't get to close" I squinted my eyes while stretching a bit.

"Just lay there, were coming up with a plan in the other room which means skylor will keep watch over you" he explained.

"Are you sure I can't hear the plan, cmon I can be trusted" I smiled.

"Sorry but no" Lloyd shock his head as he stood up "Oh wait" he threw over an icepack to me.

"Thanks" I blinked in appreciation and applied the pack to my shoulder, the cold really helped to minimize the pain. I looked over to Skylor who was standing next to me, leaning against the caves walls. Im guessing they had to knock me out, that would answer why im leaned against the ground and injured. I can't belive I let my mind be taken over like that, i'll need to find a way to stop it from happening again.

I looked upwards to Skylor who had turned her head to look down at me.

"How are your injuries?" She asked her expression semi concerned.

"Its alright" I responded shuffling my feet a bit.

"I kind of understand your situation" she spoke calmly "I used to be a villain aswell, well sort of...it was mainly just how I was raised. Believe me it gets better if your being genuine that is"

"Thank you, your the first person besides lloyd who has been kind towards me" I thanked her she simply gave me a smile.

The bounty flew towards the city once more with everyone aboard. Pixal had successfully coated the vechiles in a substance that could resist the crystal kings fortress which would normally turn the engines off. Pixal was driving the bounty whilst Nya took on her role of samurai x once more. Kai, jay, Zane, Cole and Wu had their weapons at the ready. Garmadon stood there arms crossed looking over at the sky. Lloyd was standing outside a room door and I was locked up in one of the bounty's rooms. Lloyd said this would ensure that I wouldn't get injured or injure anyone else if the crystal king took over my mind again.

"How's the view looking from out there?" I asked to the person standing behind the door.

"It's looking cloudy" He responded "We're almost there"

Seems like the blue sunny day had turned into one that would soon go down in history as one of ninjagos worst events.

Lloyd's pov:

"Rumi I'm heading up to the main deck now" I said walking away from the door and heading to climb up the stairs towards the main deck.

"We're here" I whispered under my breath as my eyes landed on the huge floating stone temple. I noticed a dark figure appear beside me.

"Are you ready to unleash your inner oni" garmadon asked, I shuffled my feet and sighed.

"Dad, I'm not sure I can" I admitted "I couldn't do it during training so why would this be any different?" My father turned his eyes to look directly at mine.

"I may not be good with understanding your weak people feelings but I do know the feeling of anger, the oni form can be controlled so if you do feel the anger taking over simply embrace it and use it to smite your enemies until their begging for mer-" I cut my dad off.

"Alright dad I get it" I laughed a little "thanks for trying to help in the you way" Controlling my oni forms going to be hard but I'm sure I can do it, I have to.

"So what's the plan again?" Jay asked.

"we're going to get close to the crystal kings fortress with our new vehicles and strike, all of us, together" Cole replied, looking towards the others. Everyone stood around bracing themselves for any possible attack.

The crystal kings temple loomed straight ahead the crystals casting a pink hue over the city buildings below.

"Were here" Wu affirmed.

Third person pov:

Lloyd looked up, his bright green eyes landed on the crystal dragonoids who were heading straight toward the bounty. He braced himself for impact as they got closer. They attacked the bounty with bright pink beams of light rocking the bounty back and forth. Nya had gotten in her samurai x suit once more and began trying to fight them off. Lloyd looked around to see Kai and jay trying to hold them off, however they weren't able to use their powers due to the dragons being made of vengestone.

"How are we meant to fight these things?" jay called out

"I honestly have no clue" Cole answered as he backed away from a hissing dragon.

"They're gonna break the bounty" Nya worriedly said as she hit a dragon with her mech making it back away. Lloyd looked around to see master wu jump onto the crystal kings temple as they drew closer towards it.

"Master wu what are you doing?!" Lloyd yelled, stumbling backwards as the bounty creaked loudly. The floor boards started cracking, Lloyd looked around and remembered Harumi was still stuck in one of the bounties rooms. He rushed down the bounties stairs as it roughly rocked back and forth.

"Harumi are you alright?" lloyd yelled out "the bounties gonna come crashing" he went to open the door.

"Of course i'm fine" Harumi said trying to sound confident, however lloyd could tell she was shaking.

"Come with me" he grabbed her hand
"What exactly are you planning to do, we can't exactly get down? '' she looked around worriedly.

"I'll think of something," Lloyd tried to reassure Harumi. They reached the top deck where everyone was still busy trying to fight off the dragonoids but to no avail they just kept attacking. Lloyd squinted his eyes to see Wu fighting with the overlord on the temple's main platform. His eyes widened in fear to see him fall.

"Uncle!" lloyd yelled out just as the floorboards beneath him cracked and the bounty began to split in half. The overlord gazed down at them, he gave Harumi an extra hateful glare but then his expression changed to a smile. Harumi rubbed her head with her hand trying to concentrate on her own thoughts and not the idea that he could take control of her at anytime. The bounty started to fail as it broke in half falling to the ground.
