The chapter begins as we see the group exiting from a tunnel before they find themselves in a forest of high vegetation where there are many plants and trees of different species.
Paimon: Now that we've made it to Sumeru, our next objective should be to head to Sumeru City and find a way to meet with Lesser Lord Kusanali. And speaking of Lesser Lord Kusanali, even though we haven't heard too much about her, she doesn't seem to be the same deity who abducted your siblings... But even so, people call Sumeru the "Nation of Wisdom," you know. If we can get a chance to meet the God of Wisdom, maybe she can give us some useful information.
Aether: Alright, sounds like a plan.
Y/n: Sumeru City, here we come.
Saikou: But how exactly do we get there?
Majority of the group looks at Paimon who suddenly becomes nervous.
Paimon: Uh... Paimon doesn't know the way to Sumeru City... Maybe we can climb up to that spot with the Statue of The Seven on it? That'll give us a way better view of things! Even if we can't see exactly where the city is, at least we'll be able to check for some smaller settlements nearby.

Suddenly, Paimon notices a Sumeru local who is seen walking. She has grey hair and a pair of black eyes while she wears glasses, a white and blue dress and a pair of white high heels.
Paimon: Wait a second, look! There's someone up ahead!
Y/n: Looks like luck is on our hands.
Paimon: Perfect timing! Now we can just ask for directions rather than wander around like lost adventurers.
Paimon begins to ask the local by shouting at her.
Paimon: Hey there. Uh... we're not from around here and seem to have gotten a little lost... We'd like to ask for some directions!
The local didn't respond as she doesn't seem to notice Paimon at all.
Paimon: Huh? Did they not hear Paimon? HEY! You over there! Could you give us some directions?
Sumeru Local: Huh?
Eventually, the local manages to hear Paimon and stops. However, she then proceeds to continue her walk without leaving a single reply.
Paimon: What's going on here? There's no way she could've missed that... Wait! Could she be ignoring us!? How dare she?
Aether: Calm down, it's probably nothing to get worked up about.
Saikou: He's right. Let's not jump to conclusions. She might have a reason to ignore us.
Paimon: Hmph! Well, even so, she might be heading someplace where we could find other people to ask. Let's keep our distance and follow her! When we get the chance, we'll just ask someone else for directions. C'mon, let's follow her. Just keep quiet and make sure she doesn't notice us.
