After doing a week's worth of work, you felt tired and yearned to do something else. Although you never turned down help, the constant work was getting to you.
Sometimes when there's serious incidents, you barely even gave none of the Mobians any attention since you were so busy - Sonic clearly not taking it well at all.
He even goes to the point to beg you not to leave, holding onto your leg and all.

Once the weekend came around again, you did your usual morning routine and got dressed. You went downstairs for a bit before returning back upstairs and opened the door to Sonic and Tails's room.
"Rise and shine~!" You sang in a high tune
Sonic blinked and looked over at you with tired eyes and a lazy smile. Tails was still asleep, however and soundly slept.
"Morning, [Y/n].." Sonic yawned and rubbed his eyes.
"Morning to you too," You began with a big smile on your face, "I have a question for you."
Sonic nodded as he stretched.
"Who's ready to go to the park?"
The Hedgehog widened his eyes, fully awake and ears alert.
"The park?! Wait..no you're joking..you're joking right?" Sonic asked in disbelief.
You then held a picnic basket in your right hand, clearly meaning it. Sonic then jumped out of bed.
"No way!" Sonic jumped happily, his tail wagging excessively.
"Huh...what?" Tails groaned sleepily, a yawn escaping his muzzle.
"Get ready, Tails! We're off to the park!" Sonic announced as he zipped in the bathroom.
"Oh, cool..! Just gimme a sec.." Tails said as he stretched.
You then chuckled and went to Knuckles's room, who was further down. You gently knocked on his door before hearing a thud. Concerned, you carefully opened it, revealing a flailing blanket on the ground.
"What's the meaning of this? Show yourself!" Knuckles demanded, still blinded from the blanket on his face as he spun around trying to locate the "enemy".
You took the blanket off of him, showing him backwards.
"Such cowardice! Approach me and fight like a real warrior-!" The Echidna growled.
"Behind you." You said, trying to contain laughter. Knuckles turned around and realized.
"How long were you there.." He asked.
"I guess you can say for at least a minute now." You debated as Knuckles felt his muzzle get warm. You raised your hands, issuing to him you weren't laughing, despite great attempts not to.
Ignoring that supposed attack, Knuckles noticed your basket.
"Why are you wielding a receptacle?" He asked puzzled.
At first you were completely lost at what he said until you realized he was talking about the picnic basket.
"Oh, well it's because everyone's getting ready to head outside, and we're were gonna have a picnic at the park." You answered happily.
