There was a calm, tranquil space that surrounded you. Relaxation was key. You felt weightless in the air, staring into the violet sky blanketed with stars shimmering all over. Your hand reached for a cloud, immediately dissolving to your touch.
You felt at peace. Free. Nothing could possibly stop you. You looked to the distance, vaguely hearing a voice.
[Yyyy/nnn...]
A force began to howl around you. That warm feeling was soon replaced with a cold gust of wind. Your arms were clutched in a pretzel, beginning to shake. It was like a blizzard hit you at such a speed.
[Y/n], [Y/n], [Y/n], [Y/n]...
The wind grew violent with every increase of volume of your name, over and over again. You were then being pushed back, getting colder and colder.
Then suddenly until you were transported to reality.
"[Y/n]! Wake up!"
You jolted awake from your dream to be met with two Emerald orbs staring into your [E/c] ones. After realizing who they belonged to, your eyelids slid back down halfway before you turned over to look at your clock, which read 8:23.
Sonic stood up and quickly shook you.
"C'mon c'mon c'mon! We gotta go! Fast and Furious is gonna start in 30 minutes!" He said as you squinted your eyes.
"What?" Your tone was as fluent as a croaking toad.
"You promised we'd go to the movies today!" The hedgehog jumped up and down.
"Since when?"
"Since 5 hours ago!"
5 HOURS EARLIER..
Sonic slowly walked inside your room and went to your side. He noticed your face was connected with the pillow, sleeping soundly. Sonic tapped on your shoulder, earning a soft groan and a tired glare in response.
"Hey, [Y/n]?" Sonic continued to tap you until you were visibly awake - for the most part.
"Yes..?"
"If you're not busy, which I know you almost always are, can we go to the movies and watch Fast and Furious?"
You shrugged.
"I guess.."
"Wait really?!" Excitement rose in his voice.
"Eh, I don't see the harm in that." You mumbled as you turned the sheet.
"Promise?" Sonic formed his hand, ready for a fist bump.
You turned back to a hopeful face.
"Pinky promise." You lifted your pinky.
Sonic looked at your pinky finger then back at you, confused.
"It's like a power bump, which means an unbreakable promise." You explained.
