"Yeeehaw!"

"Woooohoooo!"

"Hey [Y/N]! Look at me!" Sonic exclaimed as he bounced from the new trampoline you bought.

"I see you, buddy! Just be careful!" You called back at him.

Tails watched nervously as Knuckles just kept looking with interest. Your anxiety kept growing as you watched Sonic jump up and down, doing so many flips you lost count. The stunts made you feel sick, fearing the inevitable.

"What's the point of this object, hedgehog?" Knuckles watched as Sonic did two backflips before landing.

"For fun! Duh!" The hedgehog said as if it were obvious.

"What kind of fun?"

"Well, hop on up and I'll show you!"

Knuckles approached the trampoline with hesitancy. He climbed on and felt like a fawn taking his first steps. His legs wobbled as he tried to find any balance. He then stumbled over. You couldn't help but chuckle as Knuckles still tried to get used to it

"C'mon, Knux!" Sonic then began bouncing, which caused Knuckles to bounce a little at well.

"How do I use this thing?!" Knuckles said as he clung onto the trampoline like a frightened cat.

"Bend your legs and jump!" Sonic said as he bounced.

Knuckles then stood up and began hopping a little bit. After a while, he hopped even higher and higher. Knuckles quickly became amused and began laughing.

"By Chaos! This must be the most entertaining jumping mat I have ever been in on!"

"Trampoline.." Sonic corrected.

You continued to watch them both. Tails was close next to you, just as worried as you are. If not, more worried.

"They're going to be okay, right? If one of them bounces as the other lands, they'll go flying..!" Tails held one of his namesakes.

"They'll be fine, I'm sure they wouldn't go that far." You pat the fox on the head.

Meanwhile, Sonic grew cocky as he kept bouncing on the trampoline.

"Hey, Knuckles. I bet I can bounce higher than you!"

Knuckles turned and gave him a look.

"You're challenging me, hedgehog?" Knuckles answered competitively.

"First one to bounce the highest wins!" Sonic said as he began jumping higher.

The two kept jumping until they could almost reach the tree. Sonic then landed not knowing Knuckles was still airborne.

"Prepare to be out-bounced, hedgehog!!" Knuckles booked as he landed with all of his force. Sonic was then catapulted off the trampoline so fast he almost looked to have disappeared on thin air.

"SONIC!!" You and Tails both screamed at the same time. Sonic flew towards a tree and hit it with such a force, a crack could be heard. He then fell to the ground, screaming and crying in pain.

"Ow! My leg! My leg!!!" Sonic cried.

You ran over to Sonic and knelt down to his level. You examined him and try then went to his right leg. Your heart sunk, realizing it was broken.

"Oh Sonic.." You said as you looked at the crying hedgehog who tightly clung to your shirt.

Tails managed to catch up with you and gasped at the scene.

"Oh no! What happened?!"

"He broke his leg.."

Sonic sharply inhaled before screaming out in pain as he tried to move.
