Mobitechtron was launching a series of products under its Nanotech edition, the most important of them were fitbits. A fitness and activity tracking device worn on the wrist and used to help the people keep track of their everyday lifestyle. Along with it, they were going to launch a Fiteverybit app that was going to be compatible with all the Apple iOS, Android and Windows 10 devices.
"It'll be great having you on board." Sidharth replied, guiding the man out courteously.
"Meeting thi, bataya toh tha." He called her back, retiring to his office to wrap up for the day.
"Bas meeting karte raho, biwi baccho ko bhool jao!" Shehnaaz replied, hurt.
"Kya?!" He asked with a face amused.
"Aapka wait karte karte thak ke so gaye mere bacche!" She complained.
"Aww, vaise mere nahi humare." He replied, playing along and the two laughed.
"Hmm, aur kitni der hai aane me?" She asked, yawning.
"Abhi bas nikal raha hu." He replied.
"Maine ye batane ke liye call kiya hai mujhe neend aa rahi hai, mai ja rahi sone. Bell mat bajana." She mentioned.
"Thanks, you must be tired waiting for me." He sarcastically replied.
"Ha ha! Bhindi banayi hai, kha lena." She replied and slipped into the bed when she heard the car door close on the other side.
"Ha, thik hai." He replied, hanging up.
Life had changed a lot in the previous year, not only did the two move in together, they were still working on themselves for the betterment of the relationship. Saying they were unconditionally in love with each other for life would be cliché, unconditional and all those hopelessly romantic words of love were overrated. They were two individuals in love who were independent as well. They were in a correspondence capable of evolution, because they simply wanted to be together and happy as well.
He walked in quietly, peeped through their bedroom door to find her asleep and then made his way towards the kitchen to reheat his food.
A smile overtook his face when he found warm and soft chapatis in the casserole, they looked freshly prepared. Even though he wasn't a fan of having his meal all alone, he didn't mind.
She must have been tired of all the assignments and projects. His study table was occupied with her notes, a big file and her laptop. She was working so hard for herself, he couldn't be anymore proud.
"Baby..?" He whispered, getting into the covers beside her. She didn't move an inch and he decided to just lay down next to her. He was tired as well, in two months his company was going to launch its biggest consignment. He spooned her, hugging her carefully so as not to disturb her and dozed off while holding her.
