Ten months flew by in the blink of an eye. Ten months since Izuku's chance encounter with All Might.
Inspired by All Might's words, Izuku began to prepare for UA's Entrance Exam. He started going to the gym and started getting into shape. Though no where near perfect, his body was in a much better form than before.
Going to the gym wasn't the only thing he had done in order to prepare himself. He had signed up for two different courses. Technology and engineering. Though difficult, he had managed both courses, the somewhat bulky and hideous looking gauntlet on his left arm being the result of that.
And now he was standing outside the front gates of UA Academy. Today he would participate in the Entrance Exam and he was going to pass. He had no other choice, if he was going to be a Hero he had to pass.
With his head held high and his chest full of breath, Izuku strode through onto UA grounds. Starting today he would be carving his own path.
Despite UA's immense size, Izuku didn't have nearly as much trouble finding his way to the auditorium, owing to the numerous teachers acting as guides. Once inside, Izuku found himself in a sea of unique individuals, each one with the same goal in mind. Unfortunately, not everyone would succeed.
Several minutes later, Izuku found his seat, right next to the one and only Katsuki Bakugo.
"Oi Deku, what's with the trash can?" He asked, scowling at Izuku's arm.
"It's my support gear." Izuku replied, a nervous tinge to his voice. Surely, Kachan wouldn't try something here? Right?
"Tch." Was all he said before turning back around, minding his own business.
Sighing in relief, Izuku took his seat.
"Alrighty, Listeners!" A blonde man yelled, suddenly appearing on the stage. "I hope you're all seated! In front of you is a hefty looking booklet, that contains your written exam. You'll have one hour to complete it, once you have I want you to take it to the wonderful staff member but the door and go wait outside. You'll receive further instructions from someone else. Begin!"
There was a loud ruffle of paper as hundreds of kids quickly got to work.

Toshinori Yagi has had a few professions in his life. As a teenager, before he had met Nana Shimura, the woman who would later become his teacher, he worked in the fast food industry.
Since then he has held the title of Hero. A title he's held with pride for well over fifty years now. However, with his ever increasing age and drastically decreasing health it was slowly getting to the point where he'd have to hang up the cape.
Thankfully, one of his eldest friends offered him a position here at UA Academy as a teacher. A job title he'd never own.
A few more children joined the group in front of him, quickly snapping him out of his thoughts.
"Everyone, come close." Toshinori ordered, his voice booming with power and authority. The children immediately flocked around him, gazing at him with hopeful eyes.
"The next part of your test is the practical part. In a few moments you'll be released into a fake city environment where you will be pitted against a large number of robots with numbers painted on them. The number in the front of the robot correlates to the number of points they are worth. Any questions?"
The group of children remained silent, which Toshinori took for a resounding no.
"Now remember, to try your best!" He boomed as the gates opened.

The city environment was absolutle chaos. Explosions regularly rung throughout as robots tended to detonate after receiving a large amount of damage.
The palm of Izuku's gauntlet crackled, filling the air with a metallic taste as he launched a high powered electric based attack at a small group of robots.
'I believe that brings my total up to thirty-five.'
A blue energy beam shot past Izuku's head, moments later a robot exploded behing him.
"Sorry about that." A blonde kid with a sparkly belt said, coming into full view. "It was about to get the drop on you. And just like that the kid ran off.
The next ten minutes went by in a rush, Izuku blasting robots with his gauntlet only stoping when it began to smoke.
After that, he ran around looking for anyone who might need help. It was a test designed by UA. There was no way these robot points were the only way to pass.
'I think that's eighty-three?' He pondered as the time drew to a close.
"Congratulations young Hero hopefulles!" All Might's voice boomed over the speaker. "Whilst out on patrol Heros may come across situations in which they are locked in combat for an extensive amount of time before someone else arrives... Unfortunately, that new arrival may not always be the most helpful!"
Suddenly the ground began to shake as a colossal sized machine rose from the ground, eventually towering over the sky scrapers.
"What?" Izuku questioned allowed. UA had to be insane. There was no way this was legal. As Izuku was to busy staring at the new arrival, he failed to notice the large chunk of cement falling out of the sky, headed straight for him.
Fortunately, for him one of his fellow contestants was much more observant as dozens of vines wrapped around him and yanked him to safety.
The chunk of cement hit the ground, sending dust and other smaller debris flying through the air.
"Thank you." Izuku said, bowing in front of the girl who saved his life.
"Don't worry about it." She replied, dusting herself off.
The pair of them stood of to the side watching as a few people tried to take on the machine, but it was no large for them to cause any critical damage.
A couple minutes later a loud buzzer blared throughout the city, indicating the end of the test.
