7 years later
The 11 years old mayuri ran back of a certain mischievous guy who is known to steal hearts of everyone.
"Kanha! I'm going to take all your morpankh and drown them in the ocean" threatened mayuri with the most baseless threat.
"Ha! That's scary!" Yelled back krishna sarcastically at his little sister.
Mayuri got tired and sat on the ground "I'm not going to talk with your krishn, hmph" she huffed and crossed her hands pouting at the dark skinned boy.
"As expected, well I don't care cause I will adopt another sister then" teased kanha and mayuri being the naive child believed it to be true.
Mayuri burst into the room, tears streaming down her face. "Mayu! What happened?" Devaki asked, rushing to her side and pulling her into a comforting hug.
"Krishna says he hates me!" Mayuri wailed, her voice thick with mock-tragedy. "He wants to abandon me and find a new sister because I'm ugly!"
Krishna, who had been lounging on a nearby cot, sputtered in mock indignation. "Mayu! When did I ever say such a thing?" He dramatically threw his hands up in the air.
Devaki chuckled, wiping a stray tear from Mayuri's cheek. "Don't be silly, Krishna would never say something like that. You're his favorite little sister, aren't you?"
Mayuri sniffled, a sly glint in her eye. "Maybe," she mumbled, before sticking her tongue out at Krishna with a playful giggle.
Krishna rolled his eyes, a smile tugging at his lips. "See what you've taught her, Ma!" he teased Devaki, who simply shook her head, a knowing smile on her face.
Suddenly, Mayuri yelped as she felt a tug on her ear. Looking up, she saw Rohini, Krishna's other mother, glaring at her playfully. "Ah-ah, Mayuri," Rohini said, "no temper tantrums in my presence, young lady."
"Don't fall for her lies jiji, she is being dramatic and also how dare you call krishn by his name? Where is bhrata in it?" Rohini asked "Ahhh! Mata chodo na!" Said mayuri in pain.
(Ahhh! Mata, leave me)
Krishna laughed hard saying "Serves you right, kiddo!" When even he felt his ear being pulled by devaki. Now they both were sounding like sheeps caught in a loophole.
Balaram entered the scene laughing at their mishap. "No more fights between you both and come with me mayuri" said rohini but mayuri shook her head and went to hug krishna.
The two mothers along with balaram shook their heads at their loving relationship. No matter how hard they fight, its always them against the world and no one can break such bond.
"Fine! I'm tired of seeing this horrendous sight, let's leave maate, krishn bring mayuri in before the sunset" said balaram in fake grumpy tone and krishn just stuck his tongue out at him. They all left except Krishna and mayuri.
"Mayu, are you happy?" Questioned krishn though he already knew the answer.
"Of course, kanha. Why wouldn't I?" Mayuri asked, little by little her memories of Kalyuga began to fade away. Mahabharat was a distant memory in her eyes. She couldn't remember the characters yet her subconscious knew that there was something she kept forgetting.
