I slowly blinked my eyes open. I was in a dimly lit room with 3 people. The tallest one seemed to be a guy with lots of jewelry on. The two girls seemed about the same height. Maybe twins. One of them had long dark hair, tied into braids with colorful beads at the end. The other had her hair in two puffy ponytails with pastel hair ties holding them in place. One of them stared at me and elbowed the tall man. "Oh, he's up..." the girl with the braided hair whispered to her sister "hey, Lonnie? He looks pretty harmless. Maybe boss was wrong..." "Shut it Reila! He could kill us if we didn't tie him down!" The girl with braids who I presumed was Reila, looked at me with fear. The tall man began approaching me. "Where am I? Can you please let me go! I'm sorry if I did anything to hurt you!" I said. The tall man sighed. "I'm Rex, these are my little sisters Lonnie and Reila." He said pointing at the girls behind him. Lonnie waved and Reila fidgeted with a small rubix cube. "I'm uhh... I'm Leo" I tried to lift my hand to wave but I couldn't move my hands or my feet. I looked down and saw my wrists tightly tied to a wooden chair. "Wow, uhmmm. This feels a bit rude." I said, surprised I didn't notice it earlier. "Shut it, freak! We know you're one of them!" Reila said, stuttering. "That's rude!" Lonnie hissed. "You think he's one of them too, DONT lie!" "Sorry to barge in, but, what?" "Well, we think you are a hybrid. Sometimes the monsters choose a human host and use it to feed off people." I looked down and remembered the scratches on my arm. "Where- where is my cat...?" "Look we just want some answers-". "WHERE IS MY CAT!?" "Just answer us and we will give you the cat-". "GIVE ME MY CAT YOU JERK!" I heard a faint meow "where did you put him?" "You need to calm down." I tore my arms and legs from my restraints and walked over to Rex. "Give me my cat and I promise I'll leave you alone." The girls looked horrified at me. "What?" I looked down and saw pieces of wood sticking out my skin. My blood slowly dripped down my arm onto the floor. I scoffed and turned around, spotting the cage Vampy was in. I walked over and ripped the lock off. He scrambled up my arm and sat on my shoulder. "Don't ever try to pull that again." I said, looking at Rex. He laughed. "HEY BOSS, THE THING BROKE FREE." "What-?" I heard the stairs creaking heavily behind me and was greeted by a familiar face.
