The stairs creaked and a face came into view. "Terrance? Is that you?" "In the flesh! or... not really" he said as he looked at his arm. It was made out of metal.. I looked at him shocked "Terrance, what is going on?" I looked at him, my face concerned and mad. "Leonardo... You are so different from when I last saw you." He chuckled. "What do you mean by that?" My gaze following him as he stepped onto the hard, concrete floors "I mean, you look different. Have you looked in a mirror lately?" "Are you calling me ugly? First you lock me up in some random ass basement, kidnap my cat, accuse me of being one of those.. THINGS! Now you call me ugly?" I glare at him. "I mean your eyes... they look hungry but not human." "The hell do you mean?!" "I mean you aren't one of us anymore, Leo. My sweet brother, you have been chosen by a demon as their host." "Host? The only thing I'm gonna host is a flurry of punches to YOUR FACE!" I snarl angrily. I didn't get why he was acting so weird, We had just seen each other for the first time in at least a week and now he is saying I look different? "Look Leo, I just need you to listen. I've been looking for you for 6 months..." I look at him confused "What do you mean? this thing started only a week ago!" he paused and looked at me solemnly "No... It started 6 months ago, Leo..." my eyes widened and I stared at him in shock. "You are lying RIGHT to my face!" "Leo, I'm not. Put the claws away.." I look down at my hands in horror. Claws? Claws.. There they were, dark purple claws. My hands began to shake and they slowly went away "No... no way... You drugged me..." my mouth felt a bit different as I said those words, my voice more raspy and deep. I looked up at him and he looked a bit... Small, literally. The 3 siblings stood off to the side, looking at me terrified as if I was... A monster. I wasn't, I couldn't be. No way. "Leo, look at me. I'm very sorry.." he put him hands up and I backed away, grabbing vampy and running up the stairs. I wasn't weird. I wasn't crazy! My eyes filled with tears as i teared my way through the house, out the front door.
