Chapter 4

The months passed quickly, They spent weekends and evenings together, and frequently snuck off for sex in the room of requirement and even a few sneaky quickies in the broom cupboard, which (Y/N) was nervous of at first, but Fred had reassured her. In the end, she ended up enjoying it, it was thrilling breaking the rules.

Fred had also taught her the spell for protection against pregnancy, as they didn't want any surprises "one day" He had said winking but not yet. They didn't need to worry about the spell to protect against STI's as they were both clean.

(Y/N) had also been busy studying for her owls helped greatly by Hermione, but she still wasn't sure where she wanted to go for a career, so she decided to make sure she got top in everything, so all doors were open for her, which Hermione thought was sensible. When she spoke to Fred about this he had said "Whatever you do you will be good at, but you're always welcome to help me and George with shop. I mean you practically have shares in it now, you have given me so much towards it!"

"Thank you" she had responded. She might like to do that part of the time, especially if they got married one day, but she also wanted a career of her own.

Fred had approved "I love that about you, but don't worry once you find the right career you will know just like I did!"

She was also busy helping Harry, as he had had a hard time this year what with no one believing about Voldemort's return but (Y/N), like Ron and Hermione had always believed and stuck by him. She had always found it unfair the way people would think that Harry would want to make things up just for attention, it was ridiculous, if they even bothered to understand half of what he had been through they would have realised that was the last thing he would want. Which is why she had got so annoyed last year when Ron fell out with him, and she had taken Harrys side.

At least now people were starting to believe him, and she knew it was only an amount of time before the truth came out. Her and Harry had always had a good bond. She remembered the rumours the year before that they were dating, they had thought about it once and Harry liked how much (Y/N) understood him, but the feelings just weren't there he wasn't Fred, and she knew he also liked Cho but that hadn't lasted.

(Y/N) was secretly glad (she had nothing against her, and was very sorry about her losing Cedric, she couldn't imagine what she would do if she lost Fred) but she hoped he would get with Ginny eventually. (Y/N) knew how much he meant to Ginny, and she was hoping after her and Hermione had encouraged Ginny to date other people and relax around Harry, he would start to notice her.

It was towards the end of the school year when Fred and George had dropped out of Hogwarts. They had had enough of Umbridge and wanted to teach her a lesson. They also felt it was time to start the joke shop, they were ready after all the gold Harry and (Y/N) had given them. (Y/N) remembered their first conversation about it.

They had just had the most amazing sex yet and were lying in each other's arms when he broached the subject. "Listen (Y/N) I need to speak to you about something" Fred began hesitantly.

"What is it?" (Y/N) asked wearily she could tell by his tone that he was uneasy.

"Well George and I have been talking, and we think we are going to drop out of Hogwarts."

"Drop out? Drop out?? But why? you only have a few months left!"

"I can't stand it anymore (Y/N) with Umbridge, and well I think we are ready now to open the shop and we don't need NEWTS for that."

"But...but what about your mum?"

"She will be annoyed sure but this our life, and this is what we want, she will come round when she sees how well we are doing and how happy we are."
