Time passed; everyone mourned the death of Mad-Eye after he sadly died during the move of Harry. (Y/N) through her tears over Mad-Eye and poor Hedwig was just glad it was no worse, especially with George losing an ear. She shuddered to think how It would be if he had died.
(Y/N) and the others were going to leave soon after the wedding. Mrs Weasley was not happy about them dropping out of Hogwarts. She spent a lot of time with Fred, and she was trying to find the right moment to tell him she was also going, but the words kept failing.
She was busying herself in helping with the wedding when Mrs Weasley approached her "(Y/N) dear, have you spoken to Fred yet about you leaving?"
(Y/N) looked uncomfortable "I... I Haven't had the chance." she finished lamely when Mrs Weasley looked disbelieving, she continued "Ok. Ok, look I'm just trying to find the right time it's going to be really hard to tell him and I'm worried he won't understand" (Y/N) confessed.
"There is never going to be a right time dear, and he has a right to know. I can't say how he will take it, but you need to tell him before it's too late" Mrs Weasley said sternly.
"Wait, how did you know I was going with the others?"
"(Y/N) I'm not stupid, I see you whispering with them. They are your best friends, of course you're going to go with them."
(Y/N) sighed. "I will tell Fred." She announced. Mrs Weasley smiled weakly at her and left the room.
(Y/N) went out to look for Fred, but she had hardly crossed the room when he appeared in the doorway, he looked angry "When were you going to tell me?"
(Y/N) didn't answer his question "Were you listening?"
"I didn't mean to I was passing, and I heard, besides I recall someone else listening to conversations not for them."
(Y/N) laughed trying to lighten the mood, but Fred crossed his arms clearly not in the mood. "Ok I was going to tell you, I was!" she pleaded as he raised his eyebrows disbelievingly "I was trying to find the right words... the right time."
"You know the worst part?" Fred spat "Is that I already guessed, and I was waiting and waiting for you to tell me. To explain but it almost feels like you were going to just leave without telling me." His voice cracked with pain "Don't I mean anything too you?"
(Y/N) pulled him into an embrace "Fred of course you do! I love you; you mean more to me than anything in this whole world." He pulled away and looked like he was going to protest so she continued she needed to make him understand. "That's why it was so hard to tell you! Because I couldn't bear leaving you, I was torn! They need me and I have to go! But I also don't want to leave you. And what hurts is that I don't know when or if I'm going to see you again, and I don't want to hurt you."
"So don't go! Stay with me, I might never see you again. It's dangerous and I couldn't deal with not knowing where you are or if you're even alive..." He trailed off his voice so filled with emotion he couldn't finish.
"Fred" She took his hand, and she met his gaze "I know, I feel exactly the same, this is the hardest decision I have ever had to make. I have thought long and hard about this over and over, I have no choice Fred, I have to go with them. They need me Fred, and you have always been a risk taker so I thought you would understand" (Y/N) pleaded.
"You do have a choice (Y/N), I don't see why you need to go! Harry, Ron and Hermione will have each other, you could stay here. Stay with me. This isn't just some prank; this is you risking everything when I won't even know if you're alive or dead. If we need to take risks, then we need to do it together not apart."
