PROLOGUE

How does everyone describe you?

Innocent, that's how everyone describes me. Well except for my long eyelashes, but that's a different story for a different time. I don't get what's so great about them but all my friends think they are awesome! They say if I put stick-on crystals on them they will look like fake eyelashes which will make me look totally sexy. But I don't think I should do that as they might get stuck in my eye. You see I'm the only practical one out of my group who thinks about the consequences beforehand, unlike them. I mean the last time they tried to make me look sexy (the key word is tried) they decided to give me a haircut and they ended up making me look like betty boop! So you can just imagine how scared I am of trying out their new ideas.

I don't even know why they try because I know I'm not pretty and the non-existent attention I get from the 'male' category confirms it. All the guys in my grade think I'm just plain nerdy, but I prefer having more brain cells than none at all. Although at the end of the day I don't really care what boys think about me, well not anymore at least. A long time ago I used to care for one particular guy, THE ONE AND ONLY

I haven't met him in 4 years.

Back in the 8th grade he was pretty cute, he must be really hot now. Probably a player.

I liked him a lot even though i never admitted it but he never really noticed me.

Except for once but that's what i thought until all my hopes were crushed.....
