Ashton’s POV:

I pulled up in the Blue spirits pack house’s driveway and got out of my sleek black Camero. The house was quite big, around three stories high and made out of wood, almost like a log cabin, although ten times bigger. It was in the middle of the forest, a little way from the town.  Therefore, the garden surrounding the house on all sides had lush green grass and a huge variety of trees and flowers arranged in a beautiful way. Running alongside the house was a small stream with crystal clear water and shiny rocks at the bottom, along with tiny little fish swimming in it happily. The sun was shining brightly and the birds were chirping loudly, rabbits hiding in bushes and butterflies fluttering around. Overall, the place reminded me of the little cottage in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, only a lot better. And yes, I have seen the movie. But in my defense, I was bored and my sisters DVD was already in the player. Totally not my fault.

I looked at the porch and saw my beta and best friend, Agnes, was waiting on the front porch, tapping her foot impatiently as I leisurely made my way up the steps. “About time.”

“Nice to see you too Ness.” I muttered sarcastically.

She just stuck her tongue out at me as I proceeded to knock on the door, running a hand through my hair a couple of times. The door opened to reveal a woman who appeared to be in her mid-thirties, straight light brown hair and icy blue eyes. She had a small form and appeared to be Hispanic.

“May I help you?” She asked politely.

Clearing my throat I answered “Uh yeah. I mean yes ma'am, I’m Ashton. Tyler called me here to attend his pack meeting.” I used my Alpha voice.

She smiled. “Nice to meet you Ashton and…?” She said looking toward Ness.

“Agnes. But everyone calls me Nessa.” She replied extending a hand.

“Okay then, Nessa. I am Daniella and Tyler’s mother, Maria. Come on in.” She opened the door wider so we could enter. “The kids aren’t home yet, but they should be in a couple of minutes. Why don’t you take a seat and wait.” She stated heading upstairs.

As my gaze wandered, I realized how nice the interior of the house was as well. The lounge room we entered was really big and roomy. The floorboards and ceiling were both wood, with three wooden pillars surrounding the also wooden stairs that lead upstairs, located on the extreme left. The stairs being the cool ones that have gaps in the middle. The walls were all white except for the one wall that was adjacent to the stairs on the right side and was completely made of glass yet surrounded by a wooden frame. There were two plush, beige couches with brown pillows, out of which one’s back was towards the glass wall and one to the stairs. In the middle, on top of a soft cream rug, was a small coffee table that was of dark chocolate brown colored wood, matching the large fire place on the wall opposite the glass one. Above the fire place hung a 52” flat screen TV as the rest of the walls had beautiful paintings hanging on them. A 12 seating dining table stood next to the stairs and I was pretty sure that the door behind it lead into the kitchen. On both sides of the fire place there were beautiful wooden archways with a carved designed snaking along it. Overall, the place looked comfortable and homey. Lived in.
