My first kiss went a little like this. Muah! And twist. Muah! Muah! And twi......

'Urgh!' I smashed my fist on the radio alarm to shut the stupid song off. Did it have to be this song that started playing so early in the morning? I mean come on! Who wants to wake up to Ke$ha and the guys in 3OH!3 telling everyone how they had their tongues down another person's throat?! I mean that is just plain gross! Who wants to share saliva? At least that's what Genevieve (one of my BFF's) told me because she is the only single one. Even though I am happy for the others for meeting the men of their dreams they have officially been showing too much PDA! Anyway back to the point. Genevieve says that when you kiss your tongues touch and your spit mixes and it just the thought of it makes me shudder. Not that I would know as I have never experienced it and nor do I ever want to.

Well maybe if it was Asht...............NO! What are you thinking you idiot?!?

'Vanessa! Are you up yet?' I heard my mum shouting from downstairs.

'Yeah mum!' I screamed back to her.

I got up out of bed and went to the bathroom to do my thing. When I came out I looked at my wardrobe picking up the first thing I set my sight on because frankly, I couldn't' care less about what I wore to school. I changed my clothes (a plain purple tee with a pair of jeans) and tied my brown hair into a neat ponytail. I then wore my cute black flats and decided against wearing makeup and leaving my plain boring hazel eyes just as they are.

After I was dressed I ran downstairs and sat at the table waiting for mum to bring my favorite fried breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. Yummm....

I was eating happily when a hand snaked out from behind me and took my last strip of bacon. I turned around to see Nick my little bro munching on it with a huge grin on his face. Now if it was someone else I would have told them off for even laying a finger on my food. (Okay maybe not because that would be really rude and I don't like that) but that doesn't mean I wouldn't be fuming internally. But my brother was just too adorable to stay mad at even though he was as annoying and obnoxious as any other eight year old boy.

'Hey Nicky!' I said smiling at him.

'Don't call me that!' He exclaimed with a scowl on his face.

I laughed as he stormed off angrily. Probably gone to play with his whole collection of race cars. That boy sure is obsessed. But I shrugged it off and grabbed my school bag making sure I had everything. Once I was positive I wasn't forgetting anything I climbed into my car and headed straight for school.

I pulled into an empty space at the parking lot and walked up the steps to the Florida's famous South Elm High School. As I walked down the hallway I saw the Cheerleaders flirting their bums off with the football team, the geeks' heads in their science books, the wannabe gangster types roaming the school in their baggy clothes giving the man-hug thingies to each other etc. Yup your typical cliché high school. As I made my way over to my locker a couple people said hi to me and I nodded to them as a sign of acknowledgement. They were probably just saying hi because they wanted me to help them with some school assignment.

When I reached my locker I saw four girls standing their chatting with each other. As I got closer to them I heard them talking (more like arguing) and was immediately pulled into a bear hug by Daniella. She was about 5'5 with chocolate brown hair and ice blue eyes, half Hispanic but really pretty. She was wearing a red top with black short-shorts that showed off her toned legs. Black short-healed ankle length boots covered her feet and and a leather jacket topped it all off. I pulled back and smiled at her only to be pulled into another hug by A small girl of about 5'2 who had auburn hair that fell in little ringlets and olive green eyes that seemed to pop. Genevieve. My only single best friend. She was wearing her favorite lime-green, off-the-shoulder top with faded jean shorts and a pair of flip flops. She had left her bangs out and had hoops in her ears. She was bouncing up and down slightly. I laughed and hugged her back. She was just so cute!
