Kino didn't know what to make of the situation at all. Wooseok was not giving him time to heal and to get over this, in fact he was making everything worse.
It was....weird too that he couldn't just let Kino go. The fact he had attempted to make contact even after knowing how Kino felt after. He was most likely going to make some shitty excuse anyway and Kino didn't care for it.
A couple of weeks later after everything had died down, Kino and Yuto attempted to let everything be like before, they didn't discuss the event, and just went on with their lives, ignoring Wooseok at school.
Shinwon didn't want to lose either guy as a friend and he could see everyone was ignoring Wooseok, so he still hang out with him, went to the smoking area with him but decided to be smart and didn't bring up the ordeal either.
Both Yuto's and Wooseok's faces when it had first happened was enough for him to figure out that something had gone down.
Kino was quite excited today, his aunt and his little cousin were coming down to stay for 2 nights. He loved Chaeyeon. She was a little ball of energy, super freaking cute, and Kino loved children so they got on super well. He could even give his aunt some time off from looking after her. He knew they would come to pick him up after school so that thought was getting him through the day.
He couldn't help but think back to the conversation he had with Wooseok at his home, when he noticed her photo and Kino commented at how she would most likely scream, or not talk to Wooseok. She was good with sensing bad people, she wasn't an easy child to approach, and he knew Wooseok would definitely make her nervous, angry or upset. His scary looks didn't help.
So as the last bell signals the end of school, Kino makes his way downstairs and out of the school gates as fast as possible, excited to see his family and take them home.
His eyes scan the small crowd of people until finally they fall to his aunt and his little cousin in her little blue dress.
"Auntie Sua!" he calls out, a large smile on his face as she spots him too. She waves him over and Kino practically runs into her arms, smiling like a madman.
"I missed you so much!" he says, to which she laughs and pats his back
"God you've grown since the last time I've seen you, how is that possible!"
"Oppa!" Chaeyeon says, tugging at his pant leg "Me, now!".
Kino gets down on one knee and opens his arms up for her "I saved the best for last" and with that she crawls into his arms and he hugs her just as tightly.
"God Chaeyeon-ah you've gotten so much taller! What have you been eating!"
"Milk" she giggles into his shoulder.
"Wow, who braided your hair! Looks so nice" he twirls one braid between his fingers and then pats her hair.
As Kino straightens up, he starts talking to his Aunt again, "You've already been to the house right?"
"Mm, your mum got us from the station, and we rested a bit before we came here, but Chaeyeon demanded we wait for you to eat. She wouldn't eat without you"
"Perfect I'm starving. I actually got you two a little something, but it's at the house. So don't we get going?"
"Alright, Ch-...Chaeyeon?" Sua looks around her but the little girl had disappeared.
"Kim Chaeyeon!" she calls out, and Kino starts looking around too, not even noticing when his cousin had stepped away from them.
"Auntie Sua, you look this way, I'll go here" Kino says, a little nervous since a small child like her could easily get lost in such a crowd of leaving students.
