Funnily enough Wooseok stuck to his word.

He wasn't being a dick to Kino at school, or over text. Like...at all.

When he had sobered up that Saturday, he replayed the whole scene to himself in his head. He remembered the dread he felt when he saw Kino in the room. He remembered feeling the weirdness in the air. And in all honesty that feeling itself pissed him off.

It just seemed like wherever he went he couldn't escape negativity. At home it was his dad, and at school it was Kino. And then at a party he wanted to relax at, he also became angry and frustrated because he just didn't want to deal with Kino.

And as he drank, his mind opened up and allowed him to consider other options. He didn't have to fight with Kino. He had no choice when it came to his father. But he was to blame sometimes for the fights he and Kino had.

Wooseok had his own weird rules and yes he snapped and broke if people broke them or overstepped, but he had them there for a reason. Kino was just always treading past that line. And Wooseok wasn't able to accept it.

But was snapping at the boy the answer? It just made him angrier and it made him dread seeing him. That's why drunk Wooseok came up with the idea of just giving up his tough angry persona when it came to Kino, and he wanted to see if shit would be different if he actually made the effort not to fight.

Kino just needed to understand that Wooseok truly didn't do feelings and emotions. He didn't like them. It was the thing that triggered him into the angry monster. And drunk Kino seemed to accept that. Both wanted this truce. Both wanted to no longer fight. Kino might have just been annoyed at the fights.

But Wooseok couldn't handle both areas in his life to be plagued with negativity and hate. He needed a place where he could breathe. And if all it took was to be nice to Kino and vice versa, then they might as well try?

At first it class it was a little awkward, because Kino didn't know if Wooseok remembered the conversation or if he meant those words.

But during break time, when the friends had gathered to discuss that Friday night, Wooseok actually dragged his chair over and joined in.

"I have to say Yuto, if you're trying to play it cool in front of Yanan you're miserably failing" the raven haired tells Yuto, who makes a face.

"Shit, don't tell me you think so too".

Kino ends up laughing loudly, so much that he's clutching his stomach because poor Yuto truly takes it all to heart, especially when it comes to making a fool out of himself in front of Yanan.

"Good one, but don't make him feel shitter than he already feels" Kino addresses Wooseok, wondering if the other would disregard him completely. "He's all over the place"

"Nah he has to learn from his mistakes" Wooseok replies chuckling, eyes meeting Kino's for a moment before looking away. Kino doesn't look away just yet. Instead he exhales softly and nods, to himself more than anything.

He could sense this different vibe. Wooseok would genuinely try not to fight.

And there's more moments like this as the weeks pass. It's actually quite strange to Kino. He didn't know how much he meant those words when he was drunk. But Wooseok was actually making some sort of attempt at being friendly.

When the guys were outside during lunch, just chilling on the stairs laughing and joking, Wooseok ended up joining in. At first he kind of stood there awkwardly since the boys were surprised to see him be around them during their free time.
