It happened suddenly!

Chapter 40: Depart!

"CHEERS!"

Mumbled Cemre and Cavidan while toasting their coffee mugs together. Cemre was about to put down her mug when Cavidan stopped her and said in low tone.

Cavidan: (keeping her tone as low as possible) Don't put it down without sipping it. There is a saying, if you don't take a sip after toasting, you will be probably having a bad sex life!

Saying so, she smirked while Cemre immediately gulped down her entire coffee in hurry and said.

Cemre: (smirkingly) Now I will have a great sex life with your son for sure!

Both the ladies laughed and to prevent the sound from going out, they placed palms on their respective mouths. But they were late and it was already heard by Nigar who came there to fetch the uncleaned cups.

Nigar took u-turn instantly and went straight to Emir's room where Reyhan was lying on the bed with Melike by her side while a lost Emir was sitting on the nearby chair with his head hung down. As soon as Emir heard someone's footsteps, he raised his head up and was surprised to see Nigar there all huffed and puffed.

Nigar entered the sleeping area without asking for permission and closed the door behind. Emir was taken aback by her behaviour and furrowed his eyebrows in confusion. Nigar, who already understood Emir's unsaid question, took and deep breath and said.

Nigar: (fidgeting with fingers, yet firmly) I feel there is something wrong happening in this mansion, especially with Reyhan... err...

Saying so she sighed and was searching for some appropriate words to narrate the conversation she heard a while ago. As she took more than enough time to say, a frustrated Emir got up from the chair and shouted.

Emir: (angrily) If you want to say something then say it, otherwise I don't have time for it.

He roared angrily. He was so angry that Melike trembled in fear while Nigar immediately ran out of the room for her dear life. But before she could reach the threshold of the room, Emir again roared.

Emir: (angrily, while grittinh his teeth) Did I ask you to leave? .

A fearful Nigar immediately nodded her head in no while keeping her gaze focused on the floor.

Emir: (continuing) Good! Then bring a bag, stuff her each & every belongings in it and ask Sefer to drop her to the bus stop. I don't want to see this girl here anymore.

He said while pointing his fingers towards sleeping Reyhan and left the room. Nigar and Melike stared at his retreaing in horror. As soon as he left, Nigar turned towards Melike in shock.

"This can't be happening... "

They mumbled at the same time.

While the heart of a semi conscious Reyhan shattered. It shattered into zillion pieces. And the pain of her shattered heart as well her shattered life was choking her to death with each passing second. She was trying hard but was not able to breath. Gasping to get some fresh air, She removed the duvet, that was covering her, stared blankly at the ceiling.

Somewhere, deep in her heart, she already knew that was going to happen. That she has to leave her everything behind one day or the other. But in this way... she never thought. Her illness, her lies and Emir's love were the only things that kept her close to Emir. That kept them together. But now it was over! It's not that she was going to lie to him for life. Never! She already had plans to confess her every lie to Emir and beg for his forgiveness but now everything was over! He got to know about her lies with different narratives. He got to know from others that she was lying to stay in his mansion. She was lying to be called his wife. So that she can enjoy his wealth!

A lone tear escaped from her left eye and she cared less to wipe it.

She wanted to scream, on top of her voice, that yes! she did it! She did lie to him. She did fake her illness to stay close to him but what she did, she did it for him, for his love not for his wealth. She wanted to scream that she would have left him and would have gone to darkness but his love for her, his yearing for her gave her courage to fight back. To fight back those evil ladies and ran into his arms...!

But alas! She couldn't! She couldn't tell him all. She couldn't say him a word. Why? Because he refused to even see her again. His anger and his retreating figure made it loud and clear to her!

Killing all her emotions, she silently got up with the help of Melike and walked towards the door with feeble legs. Nigar and Melike tried to support her but she refused. Slowly, taking each step at a time, with a void mind and soul, she put her right leg out of the mansion. Probably this time forever!

As she was going, Emir saw her from the garden but didn't say a word neither he went there to hold her when her legs slipped and she was about to fall. It felt like the love, which was there in Emir's heart for Reyhan, had died! O felt like he was left with no emotion for her.

Sefer closed the door after Reyhan settled down in the car and on seeing that Cemere and Cavidan exhaled in relief.

Cemere: (excitedly) I can't be more happy than this! Finally, this village is out of Emir's life. (Turning to Cavidan) I can't tell you how happy I am right now...

Cavidan: (cutting her sentence in between) Don't get so excited, Cemre! Did you forget, last time also we kicked her out Emir's life but she manages to come back. (Fixing her gaze upwards) Oh God! Please don't bring her back this time. We really did a hard work this time... Please hear our prayers.

She said while closing her eyes. While a bewildered Cemere just laughed out.
