Chitrangada saw Arjun's body is falling on the ground and she cried loudly "Arya.....".
Bhabruvahana's hands were shivering and his bow fell from his hands. Chitrangada was crying hugging her husband's dead body. Ulupi went to console her but Chitrangada despised her saying, "How can you be so cruel? Wasn't Dhananjaya your beloved husband? Then how did you let this happen? And Bhabruvahana, how can you kill your father? Didn't your hand shiver?"
Bhabruvahana was looking down.
"Do my last rites too with your father."- Chitrangada ordered.
"I will do my last rites too with him. A son who can raise his weapons over his father has no rights to live"- Bhabruvahana told.
"Nagrani Ulupi, can you answer me why did you order me to kill my own father?"- Bhabruvahana said looking at Ulupi.
Bhabruvahana's word hurt Ulupi as he always called her with respect and was obedient to her.
Ulupi silently went to the dead body of Arjun and sat beside him
Chitrangada passed a dead glare to her and started saying, "What do you want now? Haven't you get peace killing my husband?"
"Don't forget that Dhananjaya is not only your husband but my husband too. I also have rights over him."- Ulupi told without looking at Chitrangada.
"Oh really? Then say which wife wants to kill her husband? After killing him you are talking about rights?"- Chitrangada said angrily.
Ulupi didn't answer and kept a gem named nagamani over his chest and started chanting a mantra. Chitrangada and Bhabruvahana was looking at her confusingly. With time, Arjun's all wounds became fine and he regained his consciousness.
Ulupi helped Arjun to stand and hugged him tightly.
"Beloved Kauravyi! Your co wife and son didn't hurt you na?"- Arjun asked looking at her from head to toe.
Chitrangada and Bhabruvahana looked down in guilt
"No swami, my dearest son Bhabruvahana and his mother both are very obedient towards me "- Ulupi told smiling at them.
"Forgive us, Jiji."- Chitrangada told looking down.
"No dearest chitravahini. There is not your fault. Even I would also react like this if I would be in your place. But what to do? It was bound to happen. After all, Arya got this curse. So I had to redeem this curse in this way."- Ulupi told looking at Arjun.
