"Today the NYPD has announced a crackdown on the string of robberies that have been taking place these past months.

The robberies have been happening in small shops notably the shops that sell vintage clothing and items that people give away or studios give away uses wardrobe.

After a reported robbery from auction houses Sotheby's and Christie's from last December, authorities have come out with information that both were suspected to have been working with smugglers until it was stolen and is now lost."

Althea listened in on the broadcast as she ate a bowl of spaghetti, intrigued on the pictures of costumes, paintings and memorabilia of celebrities until the sound of the television was interrupted by the door slamming, knocking a plate of spaghetti off the nearby creaky table. "Althea what the hell is this?" Patricia walked in their dorm.

"What? I didn't do anything I swear" Althea asked in alarm like a child caught by their parent as she moved to clean up the mess. Two of them had gotten back from the hospital a couple of weeks and were advised to rest.

"Here read this, I can't" Patricia handed the paper towards her. Althea grasped it immediately and was in shock. "Why couldn't they tell us this?"

"Greeeaaat just great" Althea rubbed her t-zone with her knuckle as she reread the letter from their advisors.

Her head was the one that kept her in the hospital the most as her symptoms gotten worse over the days and doctors had to monitor her.

"Rest, I'll go over to the advisor's office and speak to them" Patricia turned towards the door ready to head out again. She felt Althea's hand on her shoulder.

"This involves me as well, I have to go" Althea insisted.

Patricia nodded as they were on their way out and to the offices. As soon as they made it to the offices, they heard multiple voices with the front desk staff seemed to doze off on the job.

"Excuse me, excuse me" Althea said leaning over the counter to get a lady's attention nearby.

Althea raised her hand knowing that the lady knew they were there, most likely not wanting to deal with them or people in general eventually Patricia and Althea had enough.

"Helloo!" They said simultaneously finally getting the lady's attention. The pair sighed in relief as the lady made her way over to them.

"Hello, how may I help you?" The lady asked monotonously, clasping her hands together in the table.

"Yes, we have a situation regarding this...and we want to know how this happened" Patricia pushed the wrinkled letter towards the lady who just simply looked down at it without making any moves to retrieve it.

"Well?" Patricia gave her a face as the lady took it from her hands as she inhaled and read it fully.

"This means you failed the class for not showing up to finals" the lady handed the paper back looking at the monitor after.

"We already knew that we're asking how this happened if we told our professor in advance about our medical emergency. So...." Althea said with a tired and awkward smile, waiting for a response.

The lady looked at them gesturing a motion of 'what', getting a shrug from both girls who getting visibly irritated, until the lady grasped the paper and read it again. "It says that it counted as absences but not emergencies."

"What do you want me to-" "get our advisor!!" The pair cut her off in unison as the lady went across to another bored secretary nearby.

"Pollard isn't in today" the lady came back towards the agitated pair. The two of them were in disbelief with Althea about to ask why of all days their advisor wasn't there.
