Chapter 1, Part 13

Clove pov:

"Al tributes enter the middle! And may the odds ever be in your favor!" a horn blares and i run straight to the middle, along with Cato. Katniss is running straight to me. "Clove!" i swing my arm back, ready to throw but she places her hands up. "we both wanna get out of here with our lovers! let's help each other!" she's right, i wanna get out of here with Cato. I lower my arm then i'm tackled by Maria

"Don't drop your guard Clove!" she pins my torso to the ground, straining me from any movement. "I told you i would get you!" she pulls a knife from her pocket and holds it to my neck. I reach around my body in hopes of finding a stray arrow or something. I find a rock, even better. I take the rock and gash it right onto the side of her head, causing her to fall off of me. I pin her body down and repeatedly drag the rock down onto her face

Blood splatters from her now deformed face onto my face and body. 2 canons go off. One for Maria and the other for.. i look up and i see a body laying limp on the floor, i just can't seem to tell who is who with the sun glaring in my face. "Cato!" i step off of Maria's dead body and rush to Cato. He has one little cut to the face but Thresh is 100% dead. "Congratulations to our victors, Our two courageous tributes from District 2; Clove Sevina Kentwell and Cato James Hadley! And our victors from District 12; Katniss Rose Everdeen and Peeta Denver Mellark!"

A loud fanfare of music plays, "Cat we did it.." i grab his face and he winces in pain. I lace my fingers into his when a Capitol ship lands beside the cornucopia. Katniss and Peeta rush onto the ship. "Come on, let's go home~" i smile at him.

"I must say Clove, you played amazing these games!" Jules exclaims when she walks through the doors of the infirmary. "thank you Jules" i'm still dazed about everything. My mind is everywhere, it's pounding, where have they taken Cato? When will i be home? There's so much trauma still left in me, that the Capitol expects us to just forget about. "When will we be home Jules?" she looks to her neon green watch that matches her new get-up of the day

"Well, once you exit the infirmary, you will go to interviews with Cato at the Capitol, then that same night you will be on the train back to your homes!" i take a deep breath in "and Cato? Where is he?" she looks to me with a soft smile "he's just fine love, he is resting in a room if you would like to see him-" i jump up, of course i want to see him. Ever since we were brought into the ship, we were separated. "room 21 dear!" i dash off into the unknown.

I start a brisk walk when i see all the rooms marked with a 2 on them. I see his blonde head of hair and i just smile. He's sleeping like a little baby. I caress his cheek softly and give his forehead a little peck. "you did amazing baby" i climb into the bed next of him and wrap myself around his body.

I'm dressed and accesoriesed by Tulip, per usual. I'm wearing a gorgeous blood red dress paired with silky red gloves and shiny glitter heels. My hair is straightened and my makeup is bold and dark. I also have a deep red lipstick on. I feel powerful and sexy. "I'm so proud of you my dear~" Tulip grabs my hands and spins me around. "i'm just glad we made it back alive." she chuckles slightly "are you ready? they are waiting for you my dear" she's referring to Cato and the audience "i'm ready" she escorts me out of the room into an elevator.

"i'll see you later tonight ok?" she kisses my cheek before the elevator doors close. I go up for around a minute before the doors creak open. I see Cato standing with his hands tucked into his pockets, he's talking with the stylist of Katniss; Cinna i think his name was. His attention turns to me and his lips curl at the sides "it was uh- very pleasing to meet you Cinna but i must excuse myself!" Cinna nods his head before Cato comes rushing over to me "you look amazing baby" he hugs my body tight

"you look even better" i touch around his suit and fix his tie. "Thank you so much Katniss and Peeta! Enjoy your lives together!" Caesar exclaims and the crowd goes crazy. "Now our victors from District 2! Cato and Clove!" the crowd claps as we enter the stage, i wave, blow kisses to the crowd as we sit into the large couch next to Caesar. "Welcome back you two!" Caesar exclaims "might i say you both look amazing tonight!" i touch my chest, acting flattered "why thank you Caesar!"

"tell me, what are you two planning for your future?" i look to Cato "well if you must know, we will be moving into victors village together and we will build our lives from there!" Cato is completely right, we agreed to move together and see where life takes us from there. "that's beautiful! For you, Ms Clove.. how do you take Cato?" i tilt my head to the side and think hard. Take Cato? ........ OH SHIT. he's definitely talking about us fucking. "well with a size like that.. the only option is just go slow~" Cato's face runs a crimson red

"well! i hope you two enjoy your newly committed lives! And that's it for tonight folks!" Caesar winks to the crowd before the stage curtains close.

"let's go home!"
Cato exclaims
"yeah let's go home"

(ok so next part will be the last part to this 'act'! And i know that it skips to 6 months after but for the sake of the plot it'll take 9 months after! A lot of shit will have happened in that time span (good things dw) !!!!!!! Buhbye!)
