Me and billie are are a coffee shop, sitting at a small table.

Billie's POV

"Hi mom! Are we going home soon?"
A little girl asks
"Mhm! Let's go, love."
She has the most grateful look on her face

Y/N has a slightly confused face
I walk with the little girl out to my car and y/n.
"When someone comes up to you and acts like they know you, it means someone's making them uncomfortable or they're unsafe, so they pretend to know you to have a reason to leave with protection." I whisper to y/n

"The poor girl..." y/n whispered back

"Darling, do you know where your parents are?"
"They're out of town for the weekend."
"Are you on your own?"
"Mhm.."
"How are you getting home?"
"I walk"
"Love, you can come with me back to my house till your parents get back, I don't want someone following you back home or hurting you."
"O-okay, thank you so so much"
"Mhm! Get in." She smiles
Y/N gets in the car, and I get in after.

"Y/N, can you text my mom whats happening?"
"Yep."

After a few minutes, we get home.

When we get home, everything is silent, and we just head to finneas's room cause why not.

"Finneas out. My room now."
I saw, flopping on his bed.
"What? Who is that?"
"I- Uhh- What's your name?"
"Hailey"
"She wasn't feeling safe at the coffee shop and her parents are out of town so shes on her own, she's staying with us till they come back."
"Oh you poor thing, is it ok if I hug you?" Finneas asks in a slight baby voice
Hailey nods and Finneas hugs her tightly
