Hiccup's POV

Merida and I moved to Scotland after all the stresses we've had with Elsa's depression. We just hope she gets well anytime soon, Merida misses her sweet smile and that laughter she did when she first knew Jack was still alive. We had just unpacked our stuff and settled for bed. I still wanted kids though, but Merida's still making up her mind about it.

"Hiccup?" I heard Merida call for me from the kitchen. I closed my book and went downstairs wearing only my shorts.

"Yeah?" I raised my eyebrows and saw her expression from nervous to surprise. Then she scoffed and covered her eyes with her hands, "Get a shirt, will you?" She snapped, still covering her eyes.

I chuckled and rolled my eyes playfully, "Like you haven't seen anything more than my bare chest." I muttered but loud enough for her to hear. "I heard that, Haddock!"

I jogged upstairs and went to my closet to pick out a simple blood red shirt. I sighed and slipped it on.

DING

MY phone beeped which only meant by a text. I opened it and didn't bother to check the messenger.

'I'm sorry, Hiccup.'

I read the text aloud. "Sorry?" I muttered. Who would be saying sorry to me through text? I furrowed my eyebrows and checked who sent it.

"Jack?" A look of disbelief was plastered on my face. Then my phone rang, he's calling.

"Jack." I said plainly.

"Look Hic, i'm so sorry for everything i've done. I really am, I swear on my grave." He pleaded.

"It's not nice to swear on your grave," I started, trying to be a bit cheerful but failed as he remained silent. I cleared my throat and continued, "After all these years, you're saying sorry now? What took you so long?"

He went silent for a while but started.

"I remember everything now."

I dropped my phone making a loud thud since the floor was wooden. "Hiccup? Are you alright in there?" I heard Merida say worriedly. I froze on my spot as though I was still holding my phone. My lips felt like they were sealed closed unable for me to say a word. "HICCUP?!" Merida yelled worriedly this time which made me snap out of my shock, "Y-yeah, I-I just dropped my phone accidentally, that's all!" I said and laughed nervously. "Alright."

I quickly picked my phone again to see Jack still not hanging up. Thank God.

"Hic, you okay?"

"I-uh-yeah... A-are you sure you r-remember everything now?" I gulped and closed my eyes shut and crossed my fingers, hoping he'll say yes.

"Evey bit of it," What he said made me shot my eyes open and silently squealed. But then, this was a serious case and I have to act serious as well. I exhaled deeply and started.

"What are you planning now? I mean, I guess you know who your loved ones are now right?" I placed my hand on my hip and paced around the room.

"Well, i'm planning on doing a serenade for Elsa, a grand one! And maybe... Propose again?" He started and I hummed, "And ofcourse, I have a beautiful wife and daughter, Elsa and Hailey."

I smiled to his ideas, "That's great, bud. It's good to have you back." He chuckled.

"It sure does, mind helping me?" I can imagine him winking at me and I chuckled at the thought.
