The News part 2

Jack's POV

"Jack, breakfast is ready!"

"Coming!"

'Man, i gotta tell her.'

As i sat infront of the table, i looked worried and elsa noticed me.

"Jack, what's the matter?" She asked

"Nothing"

"Jack, seriously? Of all these years full of problems, you're gonna lie to me now? C'mon, what's it about?

"It's just that... I have to leave"

She was surprised

"Leave? Leave where?"

"Unfortunately, Kristoff quitted and i'm their only chance or else we'll drop"

"B-but?"

"Yes, i know it's hard but it's only for a few weeks, kay?" I kissed her head and packed.

Next morning...

Elsa helped me get ready. She tied my tie and fixed my collar

"You sure you don't want me to come? I can still pack you know"

"No, it's ok. I don't want to tire you. It's not good for the baby"

I kissed her and waved her goodbye as i went downstairs to my car and leave

Elsa's POV

I waved jack goodbye as he left. Boy, it hasn't been 5 minutes and i already miss him.

I went inside and sat on the couch. Trying to talk to my baby.

"H-hey hailey, well, i guess it's just you and me until daddy gets back from work. Don't worry, it's just for a week."

I rubbed my tummy and felt a sudden kick

"Yeah, i know how you feel. If only i'm fast enough to catch up with daddy to the airport. But i'm afraid he already boarded."

Oh what am i thinking? I dialed jack.

"Hey it's jack! Leave a message after the beep."

"Hey jack, i just wanna let you know that hailey and i are starting to miss you so bad already. Please call me as soon as you receive this message, okay?"

I waited.

Jack's POV

I sighed and entered the plane. It's just for a week anyway, what could go wrong? Elsa's due next week so i'm pretty sure i'll be home by that time.

"Attention passengers, this is your captain speaking. We will be leaving in 2 minutes, so please put your seatbelts on and buckle up. Thank you!"

Here goes nothing. Then I heard my phone ring, a message from elsa.

"Hey jack, i just wanna let you know that hailey and i are starting to miss you so bad already. Please call me as soon as you receive this message, okay?"

I dialed Elsa.

Jack - same Elsa - bold

"Jack"

"Hey els..."

"What's wrong?"

"It's just that i already miss the both of you. If only i could say no to boss but he will just do anything to convince me"

"I know... Hailey misses you"

I felt a tear fighting its way to get out of my eye

"T-tell her i'm gonna miss her too. So bad."

"Oh jack, i know you're already crying. Don't it'll make me cry too"

I smiled and wiped my tears off.

"Hey els, i'll call you back. The plane's about to leave"

"Okay, take care."

"Bye, i love you"

I ended the call and cried silently so no one would notice.
