Chapter 21 - Preparations

DAY 1 - November 21st, Saturday

3rd person's POV

Everyone was in a hurry with their parts. Jack has been busy contacting people and restaurants with fancy and romantic decorations. Anna went shopping for everyone else's attire for the big day while Kristoff went to fetch Hiccup and Merida from the airport with their son, Oliver. Yep, it's been nine months since the day Jack got hospitalized, and in that 9 months was all about convincing Elsa to forgive Jack. And for their luck, she gave in and forgave her husband or soon-to-be husband once again. Little did she know that everyone is preparing something special for her. Even her daughter Hailey has been making handmade invitations her father asked her to do since she's very creative.

Meanwhile, Rapunzel was busy painting a portrait of the soon-to-be couple while contacting pastry shops for their wedding cakes while Flynn was rehearsing the notes of the song Jack gave to him.

Punzie's POV

"Yes-wait no no no, I said a white 5 tiered cake with snowflakes on it... Yes it has to be atleast blue velvet... No, flavor should be originally chocolate but add a tinsy wincy bit of blue food color to add a blue color to it-yes, exactly... Thank you... Alright, bye," I just finished calling a perfect pastry shop for Elsa and Jack's wedding cake.

Flynn was using his old bass while practicing the notes for the serenade. I forgot what the song was called but I didn't bother remembering since I don't wanna spoil the surprise. He wasn't having a hard time since he always loved playing his bass, instead, he's enjoying it. I smiled at him and continued painting my portrait.

Our daughter, Emerald was helping me paint since she got the talent from me. We were both laughing while coloring different parts in the portrait.

Hailey's POV

"Hailey dear, you haven't eaten lunch yet since yesterday, come down and eat now," My mom yelled from the kitchen but I just ignored her offer, "No thanks mum, i'll eat if I feel like it!" I yelled back she sighed. I still have to make like I don't know, 50 more invitations? And mom is bugging me right now.

"Hailey what are y-" She bursted into my bedroom door and I immediately hid the invitations I made into my drawer stuffing them in. I groaned, "Have you ever heard of knocking, mom?" I whined as I leaned on against my drawer to prevent my mom from being suspicious.

She crossed her arms and cocked her eyebrow, "Hailey, what have you been up to these past few weeks?" I gulped as she walked closer to me. I laughed nervously, "Arts and crafts?" I said shyly and she hummed. Then she looked down to my drawer and smiled mischievously at me.

Oh no

She tried snatching the drawer's knob but I quickly hit her hand with a pillow I got from my window seat. She startled and I was sweating as she looked at me. "Hailey, what are you hiding?" She said firmly and I was breathing heavily. "N-nothing important that you know of.. Now go," I waved my hands at my mom to signal her to leave. She glared at me which I found adorable and left. I sighed in pure relief when she had closed the door.

I slid down landing on my butt as I leaned my back on my window seat. "That was a close one," I exhaled and crawled back to my wooden chair, continuing my project.

Kristoff's POV

I'm sitting on one of the waiting benches in the airport as I wait for the Haddocks to arrive. After what felt like forever, I saw the usual huge fiery red curls from the distance with a nerdy guy while holding a toddler in his arms.

I stood up and he noticed me since he handed the baby to Merida and jumped on me. I grunted and he laughed, "Bjorgman!" He laughed and I joined him, "Hello Haddock," finally, he got off of me and we did a bro hug. Merida arrived with their luggages and their son. "Well, who is this little viking right here?" I smiled and played with the giggling toddler.

Merida chuckled, "That's Oliver," Hiccup wrapped an arm around his wife and smiled at her. When I finally handed the baby back, I sighed, "Good to know that DunBroch here has made her mind and finally decided to give you a son," I placed my hands on my hips as I carried Merida's trolley. Hiccup laughed and nodded while she rolled her eyes. I patted her back and chuckled. "C'mon, Jack already gave us the lyrics of the song. You should get yours so you can practice," Hiccup nodded and we went to the parking lot and left.

Jack's POV

"Uh hi, this is Jack Frost.... Yeah, uh huh..... What's the name?.... Le Petite Cheri?..... So it's kinda like French?.... Oh it is French.... Um (phone rings another caller) please hold.... Hello, this is Jack Frost.... Oh you're from that famous restaurant they have in Amsterdam?..... Oh great! I heard their chef's choice taste amazing there and is very romantic.... You have a branch here in San Francisco? Great!.... Oh wait please hold.... Hey it's Jack Frost again, about your restaurant Le Petite Cheri, i'll just choose that next time. Thanks!... Alright, good day.... Bye... Ok hi, i'm back. So i'll be renting the whole restaurant.... Yes.... Umm maybe 100 guests..... Yeah, serve your best dishes and champagnes.... Alright..... Thanks, bye...

I sighed and locked my phone. Someone knocked on the door and I walked to open it.

"Heyyy!" I grinned and did a bro hug with him. "Come on in, guys! How're you?" I gestured them to sit at the couch and let themselves comfortable. "Oh we're fine. Merida here had a little bit of trouble handling Oliver but she managed," Hiccup smiled and placed his son in the baby carrier.

I nodded and pursed my lips, "Do you guys want something to drink? Perhaps tea?" I clasped my hands together and they happily accepted my offer. I went back shortly and gave them their beverages.

"So Jack, Kristoff told me about the song lyrics. May I have a copy of it?" I looked up from my lists and went to give Hiccup a copy of my serenade. He nodded and asked if they can leave, I nodded and escorted them to the door.

Anna's POV

"Jace honey, can you hold this for mommy please?" He happily nodded and carried my milktea. I'm currently going from rack to rack in Forever 21 for our outfits. I was assigned to pick our outfits since I have the best taste in fashion according to most of my friends. So far, I've bought Hiccup's, Merida's and Kristoff's attires. It isn't that easy to find the perfect style for them since you don't really know their types. Luckily, Kristoff wasn't that hard to pick an outfit since he goes with whatever I choose for him.

Hiccup is somehow into the casual looks while Merida likes non girly stuff. Right now, I am picking out a perfect blue dress for Elsa. I am leaning towards to a fitted dress with silver killer heels. It would look fabulous on Elsa since she has this perfect curves and I want her to show Jack how breathtaking she still is after all these years. While Hailey will wear a light blue cocktail dress with white gladiator sandals.

I found them their perfect outfits and went to find mine, Punzie's and Jack's outfit. After choosing mine, I finally paid for all of them and went to grab a snack for my son.
