My Miracle in disguise

I saw an angel without her wings.

I feel like I'm in heaven everytime she sings.

For me she's so vulnerable and a very fragile thing.

I ought to protect her but it's me she's protecting.

I made a promise to God one day,

I said, "You'll regret you choose me to live for today."

But then I see her smiles and it made a difference.

'Cause she's like my brightest star in my sun's absence.

And then I realize you gave a miracle,

Someone that I know will be worth the battle.

I'm so afraid that one day she'll bang her head and wake up,

And the light she's shining on me would stop.

I'm so afraid that she will walk away from me without a "But",

And my happiness and hope will be ended just like that.

So please God please, let me have her forever.

I'll do everything you want just to keep her.

'Cause I will not be able to live when she leaves me.

'Cause I will be much more miserable than what I am already.
