Alone ~hyunchan~

Hyunjin woke up the next day thinking about Chan. He really didn't know how to handle the situation at hand. He decided that maybe he should call one of his old friends and ask them for advice. He looked through the contacts in his phone until he found the name he was looking for and dialed the number.

"Hello? Hyunjin? Wow it's been a while since you called me. How have you been?"

"Hi, Jisung. I've been alright. And yeah it's been a while," Hyunjin said to his old friend, Han Jisung. "Listen, I called because I need your help with something and I really don't know what to do."

"Okay, what can I help you with?"

"It's- it's about Chan."

"Wait really? Like, Bang Chan? As in your former best friend Chan? As in the one who left you? That Chan?"

"Yes Jisung, that Chan. He's the new supervisor at my job and I think I kinda messed up the meeting and embarrassed myself."

"WHAT?!? HE WORKS WITH YOU? IN YOUR WORKPLACE?! SINCE WHEN?! AND HOW DID U EMBARRASS YOURSELF?!"

"Well, he started there yesterday, and then he said my name, and I said,  ' what the fuck are you doing here Bang Chan' and then I started panicking and ran out."

"....  Wooooww Hyunjin why did you ask him what he was doing there? Obviously he was working. Also where did you run to?"

"I don't know why I asked him that it was dumb. And I ran home so I didn't work yesterday and just slept all day. That's why I called you so I could know what to do today."

"Well, I say just go to work and ignore him unless you absolutely need to talk to him. Also, do you want to come over when your done with work so we can talk more? I have to start working soon and you know Changbin doesn't like to be left waiting."

"Yeah I guess I'll ignore him. And sure, I'll go over later just send me the address since I haven't been there in a while."

"Okay I will. Bye Hyunjin, good luck with Chan. See ya later"

"Bye Jisung."

And with that Hyunjin ended the call and decided that he should start getting ready for work now if he didn't want to get there late. He finished getting ready, and headed over to the kitchen to make himself a coffee. As he was making coffee, he was thinking on how to survive the day and how to avoid Chan.
"I'll just not talk to him like Jisung said, hopefully I don't panic or breakdown or something." Hyunjin said to himself.
He walked out his front door, and took his usual route to work. Once he arrived, he felt even more anxious than he did the day before. He crept into the office, and looked around to see if Chan was there, and thankfully he wasn't. He sat down in his chair, and started organizing his stuff to start out the day.
"Hyunjin you better explain to me what that was yesterday because you ran out and said you were sick out of nowhere and you didn't work at all. The only reason I let you go is because you looked panicked and pale yesterday. Are you okay? Is it something to do with Chan? Because you ran out of there like your life depended on it" Hyunjin heard Jeff lecturing behind him. Not going to lie Jeff startled him so he jumped in his seat and almost hit Jeff.
" Jesus Jeff what's your problem? You scared the living shit out of me," hyunjin said dramatically.
"Oooh I'm sooo Sorry. Are you okay little 'mister I'm so scared'" Jeff said sarcastically. "That doesn't answer my question though, what happened yesterday?"
"I'll tell you some other time, but not now. Sorry for running out yesterday I'll make it up to you somehow."
"You better", said Jeff. "Anyways, I'll let you work now so you can go home sooner because you still look terrible and like you need a rest."
" Thank you, Jeff."
"No problem. Just make sure you actually work today." Said Jeff before walking away.
Hyunjin hoped the day would pass by quickly because he was still tired and he just wanted to go home without any interaction with Chan whatsoever.

"Hwang Hyunjin, please meet me in my office right now," said the person Hyunjin least wanted to see at that moment, Bang Chan.

Hello!! Sorry this chapter is kinda short but I haven't slept well in the past week ( not that I ever sleep well but whatever) I didn't sleep last night and I'm currently trying to not fall asleep as I write this. Anyways, I hope y'all like the chapter!
