Alone ~hyunchan~

Hyunjin walks into his workplace, not really paying attention to his surroundings. He doesn't even want to be there but what can he do, he has to work.
He sits at his desk, trying to ignore the worried glance that Chan would occasionally give him.
Hyunjin was tired. Honestly. He didn't even know why he told Chan he tried to end his life. Was it worth it? Was he trying to make Chan feel bad? Hyunjin didn't know. And it's not like it mattered anyways.

*after work hours*

Hyunjin was walking out of the building when he heard someone call his name. He turned around and saw Chan walking towards him,out of breath from trying to catch up to him.

"Hey, Hyunjin. What's-.... How have you been?"

"I'm okay."

"......look I- I'm sorry about what I said the other day, I didn't really mean it. I was just, I don't even know why I said that, it was messed up. Look I know, that you didn't do anything to Felix or Changbin, but I was angry and hurt when I thought you did. And I'm sorry. I really am. I should've believed you when you said you didn't do anything but instead I pushed you away."
"I believed the person who actually hurt them and I'll never forgive myself for that, and I know you probably won't forgive me either. But I still want you to know that I'm genuinely sorry, I should have believed you, my best friend, not some bully."

Chan looked up at Hyunjin, tears in his eyes, as he spoke.
Hyunjin was shocked to say the least. He just stared back at Chan, whom he had never seen cry.

"Why now? After all these years, why now?" Hyunjin asked Chan confused.

"Because seeing you again made me realize why I was so heartbroken and upset when I thought you hurt them." Said Chan, tearing up even more.
"Because I loved you. And I still do. Not as a friend, but something more. Everything about you. And I know, you won't accept me now after what I've done to you. Maybe you'll never accept me. I just want you to know that I live you."

Hyunjin didn't realize he had started crying until Chan wiped away his tears.

So, I was writing this chapter right, and like right as I'm about to push publish the power goes out and since I use wifi I couldn't publish it lol. So I finished reading a kylo ren fanfic that I could read offline, and right as I finish the last chapter the power comes back on. Lol. It's a sign lmao. (The fanfic was sooo good but like sad omgggg) anywysssss I hope y'all enjoy this short chapter, I hadn't updated cause I got caught with my phone lol. Just letting y'all know this story might end soon, and yeah, I'm probably gonna end it sooner than I originally planned but like, the timing lowkey feels right. I might start another story soon, idk yet honestly because I have some ideas and drafts but we'll see. Hope y'all have a good day/night and remember that there's always someone out there that loves you ❤️
