An hour later...
(Change to Kay's Point of View)
When I wake up, I'm still in the cell. Oh, right. I remember now. I look down at my still throbbing arm. Nope, this wasn't just a dream. But when I look down, this is when I notice that the zipper on my jumper is halfway down my body, about waist level. I sit up quickly, pulling it closed.
"Oh, you're awake." The first guard says. He's alone. Of course he is. "Where did your partner go?" "His shift was up half an hour ago." Of course it was. "Care to explain to me why my zipper was down?" He shrugs. "No idea. You started murmuring in your sleep and must have done the zipper then." I stand up and turn around, checking everything. So far so good. I turn back around. That's when I feel the wet spot against my leg. My eyes get huge. "Wait... why... did you do something to me while I was asleep?"
He gets this smug look on his face. "No, why would I do that? You're a freak."
It's at this point that Misaki walks in with another guard, who had escorted her there as she was lost. She stops when guard number one calls me a freak. However neither of us can see her. But the third guard comes into view, then stops and looks back and forth. "What's going on here?"
I put a hand on my hip. "Why don't you ask him what he was doing to the inmate while he was alone for a half an hour?" Misaki frowns and starts her Custodian to record. The first guard stands up. "I told ya that I didn't do nothin to ya. I wouldn't dare touch a freak like you." The third guard frowns. "What do you mean, a freak?" Number one points at me. "She... he... that... thing has parts up top and down below." Misaki gets really upset hearing this. Her body starts to radiate a blue aura.
I point back. "How would you know that if you didn't touch me? It's not something I go around telling everyone I meet. Besides, I need two hands to unzip this thing. I'm currently missing a hand. Remember, you helped me with that part." The whole room as well as loose items on the table and floor start to rumble. The guards start looking around. Number three turns and looks back to Misaki who still hadn't come into the main room. He sees it first. "Shit." He leaps to the side. The first guard is suddenly flung against the wall.
"YOU DID WHAT TO MY GIRLFRIEND???" She comes into the main room in a rage, one hand extended, the first guard pressed against the wall. The third guard looks up from the floor at the first one. "Dude, whatever you did, just admit to it. At this rate, she's gonna rip the station in two. Space stations don't get earthquakes." Misaki scowls at the first guard. "What did you do to her? And be mindful of the next set of words that escape your lips."
"Babe. Calm down, please. It's fine. I'll be fine."
"No, it's NOT fine. You were assaulted by this guard. There isn't anything FINE about that!"
"Babe! Calm down. I need you to stay level headed. You can't get me out of here if you're in here with me." The room stops shaking but he's still suspended in the air. Her aura subsides. "But... but.. He.." I smile. "I know, babe. It'll be fine. It's not the first time this kind of thing has happened to people like me. I'm sure it won't be the last either."
Misaki starts crying. "But... it happened to you. I feel like a bad girlfriend for not being here." I shake my head. "But you're here now. That's the important part. Please, put the guard down." Misaki glares back at the guard. "I oughta rip your damn arms off."
"Misaki Flint, put him down. That's a direct order." Meira's voice booms from behind her. Meira, Captain Zintoris, Belle, Kaz and several guards have now flooded into the room. Misaki takes a deep breath and slowly sets him back down on the floor. "Explain what happened in here." Captain Zintoris says, pushing to the front and looking at guard three. He shrugs. "I walked in here just a couple minutes ago. I guess he was alone between the shift changes. Which, when there are inmates, they're supposed to wait until the relief shows up. So I'll have to talk to the other one and find out why he left."
