GAP : my own version of season 2

Chapter 4

The dinner with the gals went so well. They really enjoyed all the chitchats. Mon was able to really relax and forget about work temporarily.

After dinner, they already bid goodbye with each other. Mon promised them that she will meet up with them again before she will leave.

The following day, it was a busy day for her again. She went to their office and reviewed some more documents. During lunch time, she decided to go out and have a simple lunch by her self.

When she opened the door, a familiar face was on the other side of the room, she was busy checking on some documents, maybe. But Mon know who it was. The eyebrows, to the nose and the lips. She really know who it is.

Then suddenly, they made an eye contact. Sam was so surprised seeing Mon standing at the other corner of the room. 

But someone called her attention, a woman, wearing a black dress. 

Hey, are you ready for lunch? the lady asked Sam.

Ahm, yes. Let me just put this aside. But her eyes went to looked for Mon.

Mon knew the woman, She knows how interested that woman to her Sam. It was Nita. 

Mon could feel the jealousy in her body now. especially seeing Nita kiss Sam on the cheeks.

She turned around and went back in her office. Mon was so pissed off seeing Nita doing that to Sam.

Sam, why are you so quiet? Nita is curious because Sam is not like this when they go out.

Ahm, I think I just saw someone familiar earlier at the office.

Who? Nita asked

Forget about it. Let's just it. I need to be back in the office right away. I have to present some of my work to the new boss.

New Boss? Nita is curious.

Yup. Our Boss from England arrived yesterday and Mr. Huang wanted me to present some datas I have, maybe to impress the new boss.

You did not mention it to me that you have a new boss. 

Come on Nita. I don't have to report to you everything. I have so much in my plate now that you know. Sorry but I am just too busy right now.

It's okay. I understand. Nita answered.

I will pass by later. Let's have  dinner.

Sorry Nita, I can't. I have so much to do. I need to work overtime.

Nita felt bad. She really wanted to spend time with Sam.

So maybe some other time.

Sam just nodded.

After their lunch Sam went back to the office.

Sam, the new boss move the meeting 30mins. earlier.

What? hmmmp..

No worries. I have prepared all my documents already. The copies are ready, right?

Yup. All set. I have it ready already in the board room.

Sam was so surprise when she entered the boardroom. She could not believe her self seeing someone after a long time. 

Mon is looking at her phone now. She is busy scrolling something on her phone.

Ms. A , Ms. Sam is ready to present to us her datas and marketing strategies that we think can be used together with your ideas. 

Go ahead. Let's hear it. But Mon is not looking at Sam. She is still pissed from the earlier scene she saw.

Sam could not hold her self after seeing Mon. 

is there a problem, Ms. Sam? Mon asked her with a straight face.

Her colleague gave her a nudge. Sam you need to start now.

Ah. Yes. I'm sorry Ms. A. 

Sam really tried her best to focus and deliver her reports to the executives and explained to them thoroughly about her dates and marketing strategies.

When she was done explaining, she asked the group if they have any question. She thought there will be none, but Mon spoke.

So you are confident that this strategies of yours will be able to generate profit for the company? 

Sam looked at Mon and answered her question with confidence.

Mon is jotting down some notes when her phone vibrates. 

You can continue with the discussion, I just need to take this call. This kid will hate me if I'll not take his call.  Then she stood up and went to her office.

Sam heard what Mon said. (kid, is she married already?) Sam is confused now.

Mon joined them after like 5 minutes. 

Sorry about that. I think we have heard you r ideas Ms. Sam. And I will need to confer this with our Marketing analyst in England so that we will be sure that it will work smoothly. Any other concern while I'm here? Mon asked everyone.

Any questions guys? Mr. Huang seconded.

Alright, since everyone is good now. Ms. A we really appreciate you giving us your time and ideas. We will make sure the next time you visit us, everything is running smoothly here. 

That's good to hear Mr. Huang. I am confident also that you and your team ( she glanced at Sam) will deliver for the company. I think you have the right people to bring this company to a success.

Thank you so much Ms. A. By the way, are you going back to England tonight? or tomorrow? Mr. Huang asked

I will be tomorrow night. I still have some things to attend to in the morning. But just call me if there is still any other concern that we need to discuss.

Thank you very much Ma'am. 

Then Mon stood up and bid goodbye to all of them. She went straight to her office. She is having a bit of a headache but it's tolerable.

She just need to get out of that room because the more she sees Sam the more she is longing for her. But of course that is not possible anymore. She is married and then she is flirting with Nita.

How can she do that? How can she flirt with that woman while married to kirk. Sam what is happening with you.
