Chapter 11

The following morning, Sam did not report to work because she is not really feeling well. Her migraine is attacking again. The worst is she forgot her pouch where her medicine is at the office.

When Mon arrived at the office, she looked at Sam's station but it is empty. She is late again, Mon says to her self.

Then Mon just went straight to her office.

Sam, you should always have your medicines with you. Her doctor told her. 

Sam just nodded. 

Sam we need to do some test again, since you told me that you are experiencing the headache again. I just want to make sure that everything is okay.

How much do you think this will cost me Doctor?

Here is the request of the test that we need to do, you can ask at the cashier on how much it will cost.

Sam I know it's not the same as before that you have the means for everything, but it's your health Sam. 

I understand. I 'll go ahead doc. I will let you know if I'm ready for the test.

Okay, I hope we can do it the soonest. 

Okay.  Then Sam went ahead.

Sam does not have enough savings for now for her medical test.

Did Ms. Sam called if why she was not able to report today?

The human resource said she called, she went to have a check up.

Why what happened, Mon is now worried.

She did not give any details, Ms. A

Everyone, Mr. Huang informed to let you know that we have a free lunch today. It is our thank you lunch gathering for Ms. A since she is leaving tonight for England.

The staff are so happy to hear that, except for Sam.

She already reported to work but she was not able to talk to Mon.

Mon arrived at the office with Brent. Sam is just staring at them. She saw that Mon is happy with Brent's company. 

I think she is just telling me that she is okay now. Sam just turned around and went to her station. She is due to drink her medicine.

From where Mon is, she was able to see that Sam took something. Her expression changed.

Mon is so occupied since the executives are there and she could not find a way to excuse her self. She really wants to talk to Sam.

Sam, why you did not join us for lunch? One of the employee asked.

I am still full and I'm a bit having a headache.

I see. You should take some medicine already. 

I already did.

Okay. Just take some rest there.

The whole day Sam got busy since she has to check several contents and her headache is still bothering her.

Sam, can we talk? It's Mon.

Sam just nodded.

She told Mon that she has a place where they can talk peacefully.

She brought Mon at the rooftop.

Why did you go and see the Doctor yesterday? Is there anything wrong , Sam?

None. I just need a prescription for my migraine.

Are you sure?

Yeah, I sure.

Mon is still looking at her.

Sam, I will be leaving for England later. Mon said

I know. 

They stay quiet for a while.

Sam, I need to tell you something. 

Mon, I understand why you need to go back to England. I know you are happy now with Brent. I know he is much better for you. 

Please be happy Mon. You deserve to be happy, after everything that happened to us. Then Sam turned around and started to walk away.

But, Mon did not let her, She back hugged Sam immediately.

You're the only one that will bring back my happiness, Sam.

How about Brent? Sam asked

Brent is a good friend, Sam. I confide to him everything about you. He knows about us. And you don't need to be jealous of him. Because he also have someone special. He likes guys not girls.

Sam faces Mon.

But you are leaving me again.

I need to go back to England. My dad needs me now Sam.

Why what happened to your dad? Sam is worried now. She is holding Mon in the arms

He was diagnosed with prostate cancer and is being treated for it. He keeps on calling this past few days and asking me to return home. He is really like that when he gets his Chemotherapy.

I see. I will miss you. But now I understand why you need to go back.

Please wait for me, Sam. I will be back, I promise.

I will wait for you, I promise. Then Sam move closer to Mon.

I miss you so much, Mon

I miss you too, Sam. I really miss you.

Then Sam starts to caress Mon's arm and move a little bit closer. They can hear their breath now.

Sam...

Mon...

You can kiss me... Mon said.

I really what to do it since the day I saw you again. I miss kissing you Mon.

Then Mon put her hand on Sam's nape and slowly pulled her and kisses her softly.

The kiss is getting deeper and they really don't want to stop it. They missed each other so much.

I love you so much Mon.

I love you always and it never changed even a single day, Sam.
