Chapter 3

It's been more than a year already..

Finally Sam got back to her senses and decided to do better. She felt that being lazy and stupid is causing her to lose Mon in her life more. She felt that it is the reason why Mon is not making her presence felt because Sam is ruining her life.

She already has a job and it's been like 5 months into it now, in a marketing company. It was a new company in Thailand and she was given a good position as a Senior Marketing analyst. The Human Resources who interviewed her was in awe because she really knows the job. She did not mention that she previously had her own company. 

Sam does not want to be associated  with her Grandmother in any way.

Kirk on the other hand, already accepted that Sam could not really be her wife. He knows that he can't force Sam to marry him.

Sam is really like a child learning everything from scratch. Her friends is willing to help her in every way they can, but Sam wanted to learn everything on her own.

She got her self a small apartment and also she is working hard to get her a simple car that she can use everyday. But as of the moment she is taking the public transport. She is having difficulty most of the time but she is determined to learn.

On the other hand, Mon is already sitting as the new CEO of her dad's company. Mon gladly accepted it, since she wanted her dad to relax already and not be stressed because of his business.

Mon is really doing fine and she is making her name in the industry. She wanted her dad to be proud of her. She also wanted to buy a house for her Mom so that they can visit her often.

Mon is now checking their new venture in Thailand. She is in a meeting with their Thailand counterpart and she have approved the joint venture of their company to the new company in Thailand.

Mon went through a lot of thinking and a lot of research regarding this venture. She was hesitant at first because it was in Thailand, but she sees a great partnership. So she went on and accepted the offer.

Usually Mon will spend her day in her office and only go out when she will have meeting with potential clients.

Mom I will just be there for 4 days, I will just need to meet with our new investors and also check on how they run their business. I don't have time for other things. I'll be too busy.

Her Mom is planning to have like a mini dinner for her and her friends, but Mon refuse her Mom's idea.

Come on Mon, your friends for sure misses you already. Her Mom insisted.

Mom, I will just meet with them in my available time. I am sorry Mom, maybe next time. For sure it will not be the last time I will visit Thailand. She explained.

Honestly, she is really anxious to go back to Thailand. She does not know how she'll feel to see the place where she left her heart. She could not deny to her self that she is still longing for Sam. It is still the same. 

She arrived in Thailand around 7:00am and she needs to meet with their partners at 9:00am. She has her secretary tagged along.

From the airport, Mon drove straight to their house, yes Mon is now able to drive and she rented a car for the duration of her stay.

When they arrived, her Mom was so excited and hugged her immediately and also her stepdad. She missed them so much and also their house. Suddenly memories flashes back in her mind. It's Sam. 

She introduced her secretary to her parents. 

Mon we prepared breakfast. I know you will need to leave for a meeting. So better hurry up. Freshen up and then eat your breakfast.
