Chapter 9

Sam really wanted to talk to Mon about them, but she feels it's not the right time since Mon is not feeling well.

She stayed with Mon that night.

She slept at Mon's side. Mon unconsciously cuddled with her. She just let her because Mon is not feeling well.

The following morning Sam left early cause she needs to report to work. She did no wake up Mon anymore.

When Mon woke up. She was expecting for Sam to still be there, but she already left. There is a note in her side table.

"Good morning. Sorry I need to leave early cause I need to go home and change then go to work. I hope you're feeling better now. I prepared you a breakfast. It's in the kitchen. Please eat and be well. Thank you for letting me take care of you."

Mon smiled as she read the note.

She went to the kitchen and saw the breakfast that Sam prepared for her.

She is still so sweet. She is still my Lady Sam.

Mon is feeling much better now.

She decided to go to the office since she needs to oversee some contents that is to be published within the week.

When Mon arrived at the office, Sam is still not there.

Where is Sam? Mon asked one of the employees.

Ms. A I think Sam is just late. Maybe she missed the bus again.

I see. Can you tell her to see me at my office once she arrives.

Okay Ms. A. I will make sure to let her know.

Thank you so much. Then Mon went inside her office already. Her secretary is already there and all smiles to her.

You feel much better now Ms. A?

Yeah, much better now. Any update? Report?

I have secured you a flight back to England, Ms.A

Mon just looked at her secretary.

When?

Monday night. That's the latest they can accommodate us Ms. A

What day is today?

It's Thursday now Ms. A.

Okay. Is there anything else?

The presentation of Ms. Sam for the contents. It's scheduled at 2pm.

Okay. Can you give me copies of the content?

Mon is thinking of her flight. After spending time with Sam yesterday, she felt sad knowing that she'll leave her again.

Sam arrived like an hour late. She was breathing hard.

Sam, Ms. A told me you need to see her as soon as you arrive.

I see. Okay. I'll just fix my self first.

Did you miss the bus again Sam?

Yeah. Woke up late. The alarm did not work again.

Better go and see Ms. A now

She nodded and went her way to Mon's office. She is still breathing hard

She slowly knocked and open the door.

She peaked inside but Mon is not in her desk. She slowly went inside and closed the door.

Mon, Sam softly calls her.

Couch. That's the only word Sam heard from Mon.

She immediately went closer and saw Mon lying in the sofa.

Are you okay? Sam is now worried.

I just feel a bit tired.

Sam move closer to Mon and touch her forehead.

I think you have fever again... Did you take the medicine I put next to your plate?

Ahm. Yup. I don't want to be scolded again. Then Sam smiled.

Did you enjoy the breakfast? Sam asked

Of course. It's delicious. Thank you for taking care of me.

Mon tried to sit. But she felt her head is heavy.

You shouldn't have force your self to be here yet. Sam said seriously

I have a lot of things I need to check before going back to England.

Sam was taken a back, hearing that Mon will go back to England soon.

When? Sam asked

Monday night. Mon replied

So you're leaving again.

Sam, I need to go back. 

Sam just looked at Mon.

I have to go back to my station now. I need to prepare for the presentation.

Sam. Mon called her but Sam did not mind her already.

Sam's presentation was just a short one and she was so focus to all the details. While Mon is just staring at her. She really want to talk to Sam. But she knows Sam is sulking at her knowing that she is leaving again.

After work, Sam left immediately. She did not bother to check on Mon already. She is really hurt knowing Mon is leaving soon and she could not do anything.

Sam went to a small bar, she needs a drink.

She is on her third bottle already when, why are you drinking, Sam? It was Nita.

Sam is a bit tipsy already. She is leaving me again. She is going back to England on Monday.

Nita felt happy about it. But she know she needs to do something so that Mon will not think of staying in Thailand anymore.

Hey, you need to stop it. Let me bring you home now.

Just leave me alone first Nita. I need to do something for her to stay. I really want her to stay.

Nita is pissed off now. 

Sam decided to go home, but Nita insisted to drive her home.

When they reached Sam's place. Nita followed Sam inside her house.

Nita, I don't want to be rude but I think you need to go now. I just want to be alone now.

Then Nita suddenly kissed Sam. Sam immediately pushed Nita to break the kissed but Nita held her so tight. 

When Sam was able to break free from Nita, She told her to leave.

Inside Nita's car......

I need the pictures immediately. I need it to be in Mon's desk by tomorrow morning.
